Evaria and Meridia... too made up?

I just adore how they look and sound but I fear some people might be put off by the “made up” sort of elven feel. I really like fantasy-esque girls names. I’d love to name my future daughter [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] as well… so as you can tell, I’m quite into the “ia” endings! Thoughts and opinions? Any preferred alternative suggestions? Please share them with me!

I actually knew a little Meridia! She had a twin brother named Salv@tore and they were adorable. I loved her name but could never find anything on it when I looked it up. I say use it, it’s gorgeous!

Oh my goodness, can I just say I am LOVING this?! Both names are gorgeous! But together they are so magical, whimsical, elegant… [name_m]Just[/name_m] stunning! Really! I [name_u]Love[/name_u] these names and don’t think they are too “out-there” at all!

I saw them and I thought: beautiful. Then I kept reading and saw you love [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] which is my daughter’s name so, I definitely understand your style. I would love to have an Evaria.

I love Evaria and Meridia! They sound elven, “fantasy-esque”, and to me they don’t sound like they’re made up, to me they’re like rare version of known names; Evaria could come from [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f].

[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], Evaria and Meridia would make an awesome sibset! :smiley:

I prefer [name_f]Merida[/name_f], but Meridia is pretty!!
Evaria, however, just makes me think of “ovaries”
I have a classmate named Evanthia, which sounds like your kind of name! Other ideas are Icaria, [name_f]Rosalia[/name_f], [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], Pellagia, [name_f]Amalia[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Vivia[/name_f]

Although I agree Evaria and Meridia sound wonderful they do sound to ‘made up’ to me. Personally when I come meet people with these kind of names, I have a hard time to take them ‘seriously’ upon first impression. I much more prefer [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]!
