Oh, I don’t know. Both of these are on my list - [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] either as a stand alone or nickname for [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. I love them both. Great choices!
Depends. I like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as “ev-ee” but hate “ee-vee”. I also don’t like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] (why do people literally name their daughter “her”??), but [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is OK.
Thanks for the feedback
I love [name_f]Evie[/name_f] - so cute and feminine. I am a [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] School teacher and have more [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]'s than I know what to do with - it just puts me off the name because ti seems to ridiculously common.

I vote this pronunciation. It is so pretty!
I adore [name_f]Eve[/name_f]! A classic, beautiful choice. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] feels more like a nickname for a longer [name_f]El[/name_f]- name.
It’s interesting to see which one people see as more popular. I know more [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f]'s in my circle. Maybe it’s because I live in [name_u]Texas[/name_u] and the Latin [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is popular.
I think both [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] are less popular than [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]/[name_f]Ella[/name_f]. Both are classic and timeless. My pick would be [name_f]Eve[/name_f]!
This is hard. I lean slightly toward [name_f]Eve[/name_f]/[name_f]Evie[/name_f] simply because there are oodles of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]'s.
I love the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. So cute, and also unique!
