Earlier I was unsure if I should use [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] for sister for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I felt both names seemed a little too big near [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Then I found [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]. I feel like its a good compromise. What does everyone think?
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is a beautiful name, and it goes really well with [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] makes a cute and stylish sibset.
It’s very pretty. I would prefer [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
So, as you can see below, my daughter is named [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and I love it! It’s a bit longer than [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (4 syllables vs 2) but it has the same pretty, vintage feel. Our [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] was named for a family member born in the late 1800’s who went by “[name_f]Lena[/name_f]” most of the time. [name_f]Lena[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f] are cute nicknames that go well with [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
I’d say go for it! Good luck whichever way you choose!
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] it. [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is beautiful, surprisingly underused and has a great meaning. I goes well with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] too. I say totally go for it!
I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is perfection… I remember your first thread. I told my name obsessed sister the perfection!!
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is perfect with a big sister named [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is beautiful but I’m never sure how to pronounce it. Is it Ev-uh-[name_f]Lina[/name_f] or [name_f]Eve[/name_f]-[name_f]Lina[/name_f] ? Unlike [name_f]Alice[/name_f] which is so straight forward and familiar, [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is very unique and you may have to correct spelling and pronounciation. That doesn’t take away from [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]'s beauty though.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]! I went to high school with an [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] who was from Eastern Europe and the name fit her perfectly. I have never heard it used on anyone else. I think it works great with sister [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and I much prefer it to [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f] is a lovely name, as are [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- you have great taste! I don’t think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] seem “bigger” than [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] though- they’re all elaborate names to me, not in a bad way but none of them have the simple sweetness that [name_f]Alice[/name_f] does. If you’re after a name with that feel, [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is a good suggestion. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] also has the same feel as and would complement [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
