thoughts on [name_u]Ever[/name_u]? i think it goes well with my #1 boy’s name [name_u]August[/name_u]. i think they’d make really good brothers. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], maybe?

[name_u]Ever[/name_u] is a guilty pleasure. I haven’t decided if I’m brave enough to use it. It’s definitely a daring choice. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] is such a bold, meaningful word
I like [name_u]Ever[/name_u] a lot! Only on a boy though, so it’s nice to see it on this subforum 
There’s an Argentinian footballer named Éver, and when I heard it on him, I found it striking. I like it!
[name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_u]Ever[/name_u] are great together!
[name_u]August[/name_u] & [name_u]Ever[/name_u] are the best sib-set I have heard in quite a while. And while [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] also seems to fit with that, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is too Irish.
If I’m being honest, it’s not my taste. If feels unfinished to me somehow. Like it’s a nn or begs a question (like “[name_u]Ever[/name_u]? No never.” Or “[name_u]Ever[/name_u]? Whenever.”)
But follow your gut. It is definitely unique & could be totally awesome.
Also…the [name_f]Sib[/name_f] combo makes me think of the “[name_u]August[/name_u] & Everything After” album by the Counting Crows…but I’m sure most people won’t think of that! 
I love it! It’s strong sounding, but not too macho. It’s also a familiar word so it doesn’t come off as completely weird, just different.
I like it. I think it’s strong enough to stand on it’s own.

I’m not a fan of it. [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Evan[/name_u], in my opinion would be nicer.
I like [name_u]Ever[/name_u] but it seems much stronger and bolder than [name_u]August[/name_u].
I like [name_u]Ever[/name_u]. Slightly prefer for a girl but it works for a boy. Sounds nice with [name_u]Ever[/name_u]; together they have a sort of bohemian vibe to me. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is handsome.
I’m not sure how I feel about it, actually. I had always thought of [name_u]Ever[/name_u] as a girls’ name (I think some celeb named her daughter [name_u]Ever[/name_u]?), and I do like the idea of [name_u]Ever[/name_u]/[name_u]Everly[/name_u]/Everleigh on a girl, trendy though it’s becoming. But after hearing people talk about [name_u]Ever[/name_u] on a boy so much, and now knowing a pastor (a male pastor) named [name_u]Ever[/name_u], I’m not so opposed to it. I do like it as a standalone name better for a girl, but [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Ever[/name_u] are nice together, and if I ever have an [name_u]Everett[/name_u], I wouldn’t be opposed if he wanted to go by [name_u]Ever[/name_u], even though I prefer Ev or [name_u]Everett[/name_u] in full. I’m not opposed to [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] or [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] (I especially like [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]! Although it might be a mite unisex for some…), but I don’t particularly love all three names together… [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]? [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]? [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Octavian[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]?

I realllly like it but at the same time-there will be a fair few girls in his class named [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is just insanely common where I live. So although [name_u]Ever[/name_u] sounds uncommon and fresh it is just too close to [name_f]Eva[/name_f] for me.

I like the name [name_u]Ever[/name_u] a lot, but for a girl. I just think with the exceptionally trendy girls’ name [name_u]Everly[/name_u], a young [name_u]Ever[/name_u] will be mistaken for a female.
