Everlee or Everly

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering, would you pick [name_u]Everly[/name_u] or [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and why? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you get different vibes, colors and images?

Reasons why I like [name_f]Everlee[/name_f]: it feels less like a surname and more like a combination of [name_u]Ever[/name_u] and [name_u]Lee[/name_u]. I like the meaning of [name_u]Ever[/name_u] and [name_u]Lee[/name_u] better than that of [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. I get images of stars, eternity, forever, gold, blue and grey.

Reasons why I do sometimes think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] might be better: maybe it will age better? Maybe [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] will be seen as very trendy? It has a pink image which is also nice.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] the combos change things? I like:

[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u]

[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]

[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]

To me [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] feels less trendy because I see [name_u]Ever[/name_u] and [name_u]Lee[/name_u]. How is it for you?

I think [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] is better, you can get the nickname [name_u]Lee[/name_u] that way.

[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is my absolute favorite

I feel like [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] for me is more trendy- because it feels like a wrong or Kre8tiv spelling, like Kloey for [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] or Nycole for [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]. It also feels more surname like because I think of [name_u]Ever[/name_u] as a word and [name_u]Lee[/name_u] as a last name. I see [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] as a neon- highlighter yellow.

I prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u], because it feels more elegant, the spelling looks complete, and I like the connection to the [name_u]Everly[/name_u] brothers! I do think it will age better, although the name Every/Everlee in general feels pretty childlike. I see [name_u]Everly[/name_u] as pale blue and gold flakes.
As for your combos:

Everlee/ly [name_u]Love[/name_u]- A little trippy with the lee-love part so it doesn’t flow great, and a little too wordy for me. (Sounds too much like [name_u]Forever[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u], or Everlasting [name_u]Love[/name_u], which is a nice sentiment, but a bit too much in a name.)

Everlee/ly [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]- Again, a little wordy because I also think of [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] as a word name, but super pretty. The imagery is gorgeous ( I get stars on an [name_u]October[/name_u] night, and holding hands in a autumnal forest.) It flows well too. I probably wouldn’t use it because of the over descriptive sound, but its a nice combo

For your two middle combos, I would scratch Everlee/ly [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and Everlee/ly [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] too wordy and descriptive for a name.
Everlee/ly [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is very pretty, and while I also like [name_f]Estella[/name_f], I think the two syllable [name_f]Stella[/name_f] flows better!

I much prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u]! Both for ease of use (it’s by far the most common spelling), but it also just looks more name-like and less trendy to me. I know you said [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] feels less trendy to you, but it’s definitely the opposite for me. Colour-wise, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] feels sweeter, and more pastel, whereas [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] feels more energetic: like bright colours.

[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] has grown on me - especially [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!

I agree with other previous posters that [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] feels more trendy than [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u], while trendy in itself, is becoming more established as a familiar name and this is the spelling that most people will recognise.

I also tend to pronounce them slightly differently. Any name that ends in -lee seems like the -lee should be more drawn out than -ly. I don’t know if that makes sense!

So: [name_u]Everly[/name_u] = Ev-er-ly

but [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] = Ever-Leeee

Definitely like Everly spelling best.

I like [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u] best! :two_hearts:

For me the imagery you described is flipflopped. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] feels a little celestial so starry blue and gold fits and [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] is bubblegum pink. I dislike double ee endings, they look trendy and a bit childish to me so [name_u]Everly[/name_u] definitely gets my vote.

I prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and concur with other posters on the reasons.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u]

I like the [name_u]Lee[/name_u] ending in [name_f]Everlee[/name_f], but to be perfectly honest, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] looks better.

I would use [name_u]Everly[/name_u] personally. Because [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] does feel like a trendy misspelling of [name_u]Everly[/name_u].

However, if I had a personal reason to use/honor the name ‘Lee’ I would think [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] would be super cute.
