Hello! Welcoming sister #3[name_f][/name_f] and I am having a hard time with names!! Currently have a [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m]. DH loves [name_f]Reese[/name_f] for daughter #3[name_f][/name_f] but for whatever reason it’s not working for me.
[name_f][/name_f]
We both also kinda like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] (would use [name_f]Evie[/name_f] nn). [name_f][/name_f]BUT I keep coming back to name Keavy! [name_f][/name_f] DH thinks it’s strange but with all the K names out there it doesn’t seem too out there to me.
[name_f][/name_f]
Thought on [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or Keavy for littlest sister? Thanks
[name_f]Reese[/name_f] does fit really well with [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m]! If you aren’t loving it though, then that’s okay!
[name_f][/name_f]
I don’t love Keavy. It doesn’t fit very well with [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m]. Feels like a very different kind of name. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is cute, but again, doesn’t totally feel like it fits with [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]
Some other suggestions if you want them… [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Avery[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_m]Bailey[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Aspen[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_m]Bellamy[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Wren[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Billie[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Riley[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_m]Cove[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_f]Jackie[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Quinn[/name_f], [name_m]Shay[/name_m], and [name_m]Ollie[/name_m]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a timeless and stunning choice! It gets my vote. [name_f][/name_f]I’m not convinced about Keavy, but [name_f]Reese[/name_f] is a great idea.
[name_f][/name_f]
What about [name_f]Kenna[/name_f] or [name_f]Kezia[/name_f]?
With her siblings’ names, I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would work better than [name_f]Eve[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! Maybe you’d like [name_m]Ever[/name_m] ‘Evie’?
[name_f][/name_f]
Not a fan of Keavy, it just makes me think of the word “skeevy”.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Evie[/name_f] I have such a soft spot for sweet [name_f]Evie[/name_f] she’s bubbly, wholesome and has floral springtime energy. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a favourite of mine I really love her! However with your other kiddos my favourite is [name_f]Reese[/name_f] I just think she feels more intuitive with your older more unisex names. I do like the idea from @tallemaja[name_f][/name_f] of [name_m]Ever[/name_m] with the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I think [name_m]Ever[/name_m] would be gorgeous with your older kiddos.
What about the lovely (Irish) Keeva and they you can nn Keevie? Think Keevie nicer spelling than Keavy (which looks like “heavy” and might get “Kevvy”). Also, Keeva gives a mature name to use, and feels less “younger child her gets the more cutesy name” which happens quite a bit in families (eg Quinn has def eldest child vibes - but think good if remember kids will operate mostly as themselves not as a sibling). Keeva makes the set have a charming Celtic feel, with the three names then having Irish roots. This would be my choice!
I would keep Eve nn Evie on list (versus Evie as a first) as keeps the one syllable pattern and again means everyone gets an equally tailored name. Eve is truly stunning, and you still get Evie with it.
Thank you for your in depth comment. [name_m]Will[/name_m] be brining up [name_f]Keeva[/name_f] as an option. But also agree with keeping all three 1 syllable. Hard choices lol!
I’m really curious how you feel about the name [name_f]Keeley[/name_f]? It’s a similar sound to Keavey but is more of an established name. I do like the sound of Keavey a lot but it would be harder to “defend,” for lack of a better word. And if you do choose it, I agree with other comments about choosing a different spelling. I would’ve assumed it was Kevy (like heavy). Keevie or Keevey would work better.
FWIW I would go for best name over keeping one syllable pattern [name_f][/name_f]- as said, kids spend most of their lives navigating world as themselves so better they have the best name than one that matches the “sibset”. Anyway, keep us posted!
I love [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m] but [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is too popular and Keavy is, yes, skeevy. Some other ideas: [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Keagan[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Keenan[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Keating[/name_m] (super cute [name_f][/name_f], right?) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Dylan[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sloane[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Darcy[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lennon[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Murphy[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Campbell[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bellamy[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Teagan[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Fallon[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Cassidy[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Devin[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Tiernan[/name_m] or [name_f]Tierney[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Murray[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Teagan[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Larkin[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Breslin[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Clancy[/name_m]
Three sisters, what fun! I do love [name_f]Eve[/name_f] so much, but it does feel slightly different style from your daughters’ names. That doesn’t matter if you love it though!
[name_f][/name_f]
I find myself rather liking Keavy! I’ve never heard of it before. The style and sound certainly work with [name_f]Quinn[/name_f] and [name_m]Shay[/name_m]. I do like the suggestions of [name_f]Keeva[/name_f] and [name_f]Keeley[/name_f] as well. I also know a Keevan.
