[name]How[/name] is [name]Ezri[/name] for a girl? What middle names would work?
It’s not my style, and it’s so close to [name]Ezra[/name], I think lots of people will read it and think it’s a boys’ name, but it’s OK.
Maybe something Hebrew but better known and more feminine? Maybe 3 syllables to stretch it out?
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Aviva[/name] for something rarer
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Michaela[/name] for something in the middle
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] for something familiar
I think those are all nice.
I dislike it on a girl, it’s a Biblical male name.
This is actually my first choice its a character on [name]Star[/name] Trek btw.
It’s a guilty pleasure of mine, thanks to the [name]Star[/name] Trek character.
Middles:
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Amira[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Amara[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Adele[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Alana[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Amira[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Tamar[/name]
I love [name]Star[/name] Trek but I see [name]Ezri[/name] on a human girl and I think “your parents really wanted a boy named [name]Ezra[/name]”.
But with a lot of fn’s I have negative gut reactions to can see it as a great mn.
For example:
[name]Abigail[/name] [name]Ezri[/name]
[name]Naomi[/name] [name]Ezri[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name] [name]Ezri[/name]
I love [name]Ezri[/name]. I admit that I think it’s funny whenever someone posts that it makes them assume the parents wanted a son named [name]Ezra[/name], because while I adore [name]Ezri[/name] on little girls, I truly dislike the name [name]Ezra[/name] (on boys OR girls) and would never use it. So if I had a daughter named [name]Ezri[/name], it would be in spite of soundalike [name]Ezra[/name], rather than an alternative to it.
I prefer consonant middles with vowel-ending firsts, most of the time.
I don’t like it. If you do use it, I think it might work with a longer, female mn.
Some suggestions…
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Gabriella[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Yasmine[/name]
[name]Ezri[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
I adore this name, but I seem to be one of the few berries who likes the more androgynous names. I find it cute and spunky! I would definitely pair it with a decidedly feminine middle. I like [name]Ezri[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
I too am a [name_f]Star[/name_f] Trek fan and just loved the name [name_u]Ezri[/name_u].
My 2nd Daughter is now 16 yo with the name [name_u]Ezri[/name_u] [name_f]Danika[/name_f].
The name was not chosen until after she was born, it was NOT because we were hoping for a boy, who would have been named [name_m]Malachi[/name_m], [name_u]Darian[/name_u] or [name_u]Kyle[/name_u].
