Fairy could be a nickname for...?

I’ve been thinking of a minor character with the nickname of [name]Fairy[/name], but I can’t figure out the formal name. I’d like it to be a somewhat classic or vintage name, not something really unusual like [name]Fairuza[/name] which is the only thing I’ve come up with on my own. Thanks for your ideas!

I think most F names would work… [name]Frances[/name], [name]Francesca[/name], [name]Flora[/name], [name]Florence[/name], [name]Frederica[/name]? Otherwise I love [name]Phaedra[/name].

If you alter the spelling a tad, you could give a Miss [name]Farrah[/name] Hensley (or any surname ending in -y) the nickname [name]Farry[/name]. Actually, one of the meanings of [name]Ella[/name] is “fairy maiden,” so a friend could nickname her [name]Fairy[/name] as an inside joke. [name]Tiana[/name] means “fairy queen,” too. [name]IMO[/name] it would really work for [name]Florence[/name] or Frielle/Fryelle. And also maybe with [name]Frida[/name]/[name]Freida[/name].

I like the nn [name]Fairy[/name] with the full name [name]Farrah[/name]. It sounds like a good nn for it. or you could go crazy and base the nn off looks not name, and have the name be something random like [name]Melanie[/name] or something. [name]Just[/name] a thought :smiley:
