I’m not a huge fan of hyphenated first names however I love [name_f]Faith[/name_f]. [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is such a beautiful virtue name that makes my heart sing.

From the names I love Faith-Daisy! I really like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] she’s sweet floral choice that feels bright and full of springtime energy. I think Faith-Daisy is a gorgeous pairing!

Yeah that’s- good idea.

I also think Faith-Daisy is GORGEOUS…Thank you…thanks for your [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] options! I want to try and keep it short, so I’m thinking is it ok to do 2 one syllable names, or will it sound odd? [name_u]Or[/name_u] don’t even worry about number of syllables as long as it has a beautiful flow that easily rolls off the tongue?

I wouldn’t worry about syllable count I would focus on overall flow/sound!

Flow-wise, I think something with the stress on the second syllable works best:

Faith-Marie
Faith-Renee
Faith-Michelle
Faith-Lorraine
Faith-Monique
Faith-Rochelle

I do think Faith-Anne sounds great, too, as it almost sounds like one name together.

Faith-Ida, maybe? I know you wanted a middle name that begins with a vowel and my great-grandmother’s name was [name_f]Ida[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] in double barrels pretty much all the time! And, I think they are all lovely with [name_f]Faith[/name_f] (before or after). [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is my favorite of them: Faith-Sarah. :cherry_blossom:

[name_f]Faith[/name_f] in the first slot is tricky to me. Daisy-Faith has a ring that Faith-Daisy hasn’t got for me, even though the names are exactly the same! I think that’s because with [name_f]Faith[/name_f], I prefer the name that follows to have stress in its second syllable (if it’s a two-syllable name). It’s a nicer flow to my ear.

Ideas…
Faith-Marie
Faith-Estelle
Faith-Louise
Faith-Renée
Faith-Noelle
Faith-Viola

I’m not a huge fan of any of the options you presented honestly. The last syllable of [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is ends in a voiceless dental fricative which means it has a rather “finality” sound to it - your tongue goes between your teeth to make the sound so it doesn’t really flow well into other consonants. Therefore the transition between “-th R-”, “-th kw-”, and “-th D-” is choppy and somewhat awkward to articulate. Some consonants do seem easier to bridge this transition, such as M or L, but in general I think sticking with a vowel sound for your second part of the double barrel might be the best option for ease of pronounceability.

Hmm, I like Faith-Daisy but how about:

Faith-Anna
Faith-Anne
Faith-Elise
Faith-Lily
Faith-Maya (or Maia)
Fairy-Rose
Faith-Maisie
Faith-Emily
Faith-Willow
Faith-Louise

Other way:

Mary-Faith
Audrey-Faith
Ella-Faith
Lily-Faith
Chloe-Faith

After the broad A in [name_f]Faith[/name_f] and it having unusual letters anyway, I wouldn’t pair with a strong consonant name like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as they are then competing rather than complementing and (especially where both one syllable) it makes it sound like one name (egFaithren) - and not in a good way imo - rather than two hyphenated/joint names. If you want that singular sound, maybe [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] or Faralith appeal or another long F and TH name. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps.:ribbon:
