my name is hope, and i love it! it’s my favourite virtue name. if i had to pick another, i think i’d go with joy as a first name and love as a middle :yellow_heart:

[name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f] or [name_f]Faith[/name_f] as firsts, [name_f]Joy[/name_f] as a second (though I met a little [name_f]Joy[/name_f] the other day and it is adorable - just don’t love the -oy sound). I don’t like [name_u]Love[/name_u] for a first or second, based on the sound and the meaning being a little too explicit for me.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a first name, as it feels the most timeless/classic.
[name_f]Joy[/name_f] as a middle name, as it feels the most fun and I like it as a middle slot but it does feel a bit too dated for me to use as a first

They are all gorgeous :dove:

However my favourite is Hope! I love Hope she feels joyous, has tons of lovely religious connotations, has sweet cottagecore imagery along with feeling nostalgic. I adore Hope. I have Hope Leonora Helen on my list. So Hope as a first name.

Love as a middle name I think Love is gorgeous has a hippy dippy feel which is great the ultimate 1960s summer festival name. Tie dye t-shirts, great music and a sense of freedom. However I think Love could be a tricky first name much prefer as a middle name paired with a classic like Francesca.

My favourite is Hope. IMO a person cannot be happy all the time and I don’t want to force that expectation on a child, but I believe that even in the worse moments a person can have hope

My wish is not for my child to always be a joy or always happy, but that if they will be down, they will still have a little of hope

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] as a first or middle. I just like it. I feel like it is the most under-used. I knew someone with the first name and she wore it well. To me the name is very classy and timeless.
