Fake Blog Entries: Part One! 🌷

Time has flied with this pregnancy, and between the morning sickness, Sarah-Claire being mobile, and [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] starting 4th grade, I haven’t had much time to post! Somehow, I’m already 34 weeks with baby #3! We know the gender, but we have decided not to say anything as to not be overwhelmed with blue or pink everything. We do have a name though, so I’ll call them baby L!
Today, we got to see them in 3D with [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] and SC. It was so cool, and it was the first time that little lady really understood what she was seeing at an ultrasound now that she’s 1 1/2! Here’s baby L being so cute even before they’re born.
image
Now that I’ve had a whole 8 months to process a third baby, I’m doing so much better! I can’t wait to see them grow up with SC so close in age, to see [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] be the best big sister all over again, and to see [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] be the best father. We already love you so much wee little L!

Now that I’ve gushed about the littlest member of the family, I should probably talk about my amazing oldest girl [name_f]Georgie[/name_f]. Like I said earlier, she’s now in 4th grade (how? just how?) and she’s still got such a cottagecore style! She’s still very shy, but she’s slowly starting to open up to more and more people. She’s still besties with Miss [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], but she’s now very close with [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_f]Catrin[/name_f], and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]! She still has the closest relationship with both [name_m]Dacre[/name_m] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]. She’s been reading so much lately, and she has been drawing a lot as well. I love you, [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] girl!

And now for our soon to be middle child (it feels crazy saying that! SC was just born yesterday, right?!). Sarah-Claire is running everywhere she goes now, and I think it’s safe to say she’s a toddler now. Her hair has gotten long enough for pigtails, and her big blue eyes are definitely here to stay. As far as her spunky personality goes, she certainly hasn’t lost it, and she is still so social with everyone she sees!

SC rocking her pigtails!

Thank you for reading about my little family if you made it this far! I’m just so happy with the way life is ending up right now, and we’re all doing so well.

@Larryisalittledog Im so exicted to find out the gender of baby #3!!
@melia22 I’m glad you all had fun at the beach!
@BeeEl Disney is so fun, I hope you all had a blast! Can you tell me your kiddos names again? (I’m so sorry, but I don’t think you have posted in a while)

Hi! A lot has happened since my last post! We bought a house and we know the gender of Baby #2! The house is gorgeous!

We didn’t have an official gender reveal, I just asked my mom to make a cake with the color in it and we cut into the cake just the 3 of us.

I also have to add how amazing and delicious this cake was! Thanks mom!!
I had to pick my mom and dad up from the airport and Cami wanted to come but as soon as we got them she was tired and just wanted to ride on the suitcase :joy:

I am about 18 weeks pregnant as of yesterday and I’m so exicted!!

We just started thinking about names and we want her middle name to be Annette but we have no idea on the first name, help!

@CharlotteLovesVolley Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy!
@Larryisalittledog Congratulations on your marriage, happy birthday to Sarah-Claire, and congrats on your pregnancy as well!! Baby will be so loved (and so close with SC - my own brother and I are 14 months apart and we are super close, he’s like a built-in best friend!)
@melia22 Welcome!! Your little girl is adorable but I am captivated by your tiny hamster :joy: the cutest!
@BeeEl Disney looks like so much fun!! I’d love to take ours to Disney someday when the little ones are old enough to remember it!! Although I do think Roo would get in free right now, which is a perk.
@readingreverie This is a welcome change, that was throwing me off too!!

We’ve been having a nice, chill summer over here! Teddy has been surfing non-stop with Will while the kids and I play at the beach. On hotter days we just hang out in the kiddie pool in our yard. Teddy turned 11 recently and he’s still such a chill little dude. He loves to play Fortnite with his friends, but thankfully he’s not the type to get worked up over it and tends to just roll with the punches!

Roo turned 18 months old!

Rufus is such a smart little guy! Already talking in 2-3 word sentences, which blows my mind - none of the other kids were at his age. He’s a very independent little dude as well, and doesn’t want our help with anything, which means getting out the door takes about twenty minutes

That’s all for us! As the kids get older I’ve got fewer updates, so I’ll probably be on to a new family sometime soon (which is crazy because I started this family a year ago - time flies!)

I’m so looking forward to introducing myself and my family to the blog! :rainbow:

My lovely husband, Simon, and I have three girls: Alcott June (6), Favor Elouise (4), and Merit Rosalie (8mo). Our two pups are Oatmeal (4, a Golden Retriever) and Persimmon “Percy” (1, an Irish Wolfhound), and we also have several kitties!

Here are a few pictures of our girls. . .

Alcott this past spring, the original muse for my photography business, modeling for my photoshoots like she has since she was in utero! This was right after we got our runner ducks and found out they were huge fans of the hose, which of course turned Cotty into a fan too!

Favor this spring! She wasn’t the biggest fan of the idea of having a hose sprayed above her while she held an umbrella, but she decided that sitting in a bowl of water would work too! Anything makes for a good photoshoot, so long as Fizzy has that cheesy grin!

Our little Merry, back at the tail end of April, laying in a bed of wildflowers. She was fascinated with pulling at them while she bathed in the sun that day. Oh, Merit! She’s so gentle and content, but she has the silliest, earthy laugh!

We’ve occasionally been described as “homesteaders,” although we don’t technically follow the rules to qualify! We do, however, live in the country in a house with lots of land, spend a lot of time outdoors, and have many animals—cats, chickens, dogs, and ducks! Our home is a twenty-minute drive from our parents, close enough for Friday visits, fun trips to the zoo, and swimming lessons.

We’ve lived in our house since before I was pregnant with Alcott, and it has been such a haven and safe space for all of us. From the door we first walked through as a newly married couple, the same one I walked through to tell Simon I was pregnant, the very same one we brought all of the girls home through, to the backyard that leads right into the woods, filled with animals and flowers and our girls toys and dress-up clothes, it is all a zoo, one we thrive and love in.

Our girls are so wild, so cheesy, and so cheerful, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Our Alcott, who is always pondering, always reading, searching for new information. Our Favor, who is such a free-spirit, constantly getting into messes, finding new ways to play, creating her own art. Our Merit, who is so quiet and so gentle, content to watch her sisters all day long, happy to be outside listening to the birds sing. Oh, my girls.

Simon is the most patient and adoring father I have ever seen, and I am so lucky that our girls’ get to call him their daddy. He’s a soccer player with an adventurer’s heart and is the most nurturing and doting man I have ever met. As for me, I primarily stay at home with my girls, but I do have a photography business that I opened when I became pregnant with Alcott—something I had always done on the side but never taken seriously until then. We are so lucky to be living this life.

And that’s our family!
I’ll probably be posting again soon; we’ve got a lot to share as we officially finished the girls rooms, something we’ve been working on for the past few months! I hope you’re all well. :white_heart:

@melia22 What sweet pictures! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
@Larryisalittledog Can’t wait to see your little one!
@CharlotteLovesVolley Yup! I need to post a little more consistently (it’s been way too long in part 2 also :see_no_evil:) I’ve got 5 kiddos. The twins are 7, Rainey May (older twin) and Windy April. We adopted Charlotte July a few months ago. I call her Loie since that’s what she prefers! (she’s 4 and her middle name was Zoe) Alton Ryder is the only boy; he’s 3. And Merrily June was born a few months ago! I call her Miri a lot. She’s almost 3 months! Wow! She’s too big! What a beautiful house!!
@kiomkio Yes! Such a perk! We got Miri in free, but Alton is 3, so he had to be payed for, but no regrets of course. He loved it and was smiling the whole time.
@readingreverie Welcome! What beautiful girls and beautiful names!

Hello! I hope you’re all having a lovely week!
We haven’t had a whole lot to do. Rainey started jazz classes this week and she loves them so much! She’s doing Summer ballet, tap, and jazz now, so they won’t have a recital or anything, but she’s always excited to see her dance friends. I feel like Windy may not like dance as much, which makes me so sad since the twins have done it together for so many years. She said that she wants to do ballet next year, but not tap, and she wants to do more art classes. I’m glad she’s at least not quitting completely and she’s picking up a new hobby.

my girlies!

Loie is done with swim lessons, but I’ve been taking her to the pool every week to practice her skills. She tends to make a new friend every time and we’ve been able to keep in touch with a few. Exciting news though! We got in contact with Loie’s biological mother and we were able to get in touch with Loie’s older sister! They’re going to see each other next week! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Here’s a picture her biological mom sent me:

little loie!

image

Alton is still happy ranting about Disney. :joy: He wants to go back so bad, good to know he enjoyed it! He has his last soccer game next week, which he’s mostly sad about. In his words, he’s “excited-sad-mad,” so I think that’s good? Maybe? 3 year olds still confuse me. DH put hair gel in Alton’s hair yesterday and the girls couldn’t stop laughing.

little gentleman

image

Miss M is almost 3 months! It’s pretty early, but yesterday she hit a milestone! I’m sad-happy (in Alton’s words, of course) She laughed, and she has the cutest laugh ever! I can’t get over it :face_holding_back_tears:

miri ma'am

Have an amazing day!!

@readingreverie welcome! your girls are just stunning - as are their names!

something super exciting happened today!!

as of today we officially have a walker!!! we knew this day had been coming for a while, she was starting to be able to hold herself up a stand on her own. we knew it was nearing closer to the day she’d be taking her first steps though now she has i cannot quite believe it. it just feels like another sign that my tiny baby is gone, now i really do have a thirteen month old toddler. life has been moving too fast!

everyday scout amazes me! everyday it just feels like she’s learning something new and becoming this whole tiny person, which i honestly cannot believe. next thing we know, she’ll be fifteen and getting angry at us because we won’t let her go to her third party that week.

@melia22 Yayyy! [name_f]Scout[/name_f] is so big!

Hey all! This week we went on a vacation to [name_f]Florida[/name_f], and we all had a blast!

[name_f]Cami[/name_f] in [name_f]Florida[/name_f]

Once we got home we were all so tuckered out, [name_f]Cami[/name_f] especially and she fell asleep right away meaning that DH and I got to talk about the baby’s name. We have decided on the name, but we will only share her initials for now: EA. We will call her [name_f]Baby[/name_f] E until she is born!

@CharlotteLovesVolley i knowwww! she’s getting so big! cami looks like she had a great time in florida.

on friday we had reuben’s school graduation, i felt so lucky to watch him graduate the same way he was able to watch me last year. he has done an amazing job to graduate! scout was squealing for her daddy the whole while he walked across, and i know she’s just as proud of him as i am even if it is in her own special way. reuben has worked so hard to be able to graduate while working and helping me raise scout, he’s the best daddy, partner and person someone could ask for. i’m just so proud of him!

mum + dad

we also have one more piece of news! we are moving! we have been living with reuben’s mum and his five year old little sister for the last year, and we are very exited we’ve finally got the money right to be able to have our own apartment. although it’s only a two bedroom apartment, we’re completely thrilled. as bad as it sounds, i’ll be exited not have to wrestle with scout every morning to try get his sister to school!

hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! 🫶🏻

hello everyone… it has been almost three weeks since i have updated! however, unfortunately, i have decided to move on from tully, knox and banjo. i had so much fun writing about them, but i just didn’t see where is was going!

hi everyone!

my name is claudia and my husband jack and i have three sweet, sweet little girls. jack and i met when we were sixteen, eleven years ago! we are both from a pretty big city and wanted a change so we moved to the country! we are still on the coast though so we are super close to the beach as well, which is essential for our water loving family! anyway, enough about that, let me introduce my girls.

romilly violet is my six year old girly! also known as romy rom-ee she is a leo, and fits the description to a tee. she loves being the centre of attention and is such a leader, she loves bossing around her little sisters and is the most loving, friendly and loyal little girl. she starts talking to everyone she meets and loves getting to know all of ‘mummy’s friends’! romy is obsessed with animals and thinks that she can talk to every one that crosses her path. she loves making bug catchers and hotels for the ones she finds.

bambi dorothea. goodness, my four year old firecracker. bambs is the loudest, naughtiest little girl. she is beyond cheeky and extremely smart for her age. our girl definitely marches to the beat of her own drum. despite being as crazy as she is, bambi is so kind to all of her friends (and her family when she wants to be!). she has a very gentle soul and loves cuddling and playing at home with all of her toys, which she absolutely cherishes. she absolutely adores dogs, not the grubby bugs as much as romilly, but she loves helping her big sissy!

tallulah valerie, my sweet baby girl! lula is two and is the smiliest bub. she loves following her big sisters around and luckily, she is the opposite of bambalina! of course we love bambles, we wouldn’t trade her for the world, but bambi times two would certainly be a challenge! lulu is so giggly and the most adorable toddler. she is super shy when she meets people, but once she gets to know someone, she becomes attached super quickly. she is very happy following her sisters around and she is definitely a mummy’s girl! romilly is pretty neutral, bambs is definitely a daddy’s girl and lula is mummy’s!

thank you for reading about my family, i am so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to meet you all!

@oakbelle! welcome claudia, it’s lovely to meet you. if your interested in play dates then we are always open!

hello all!

summer is finally here! in the mist of our miserable english summer, we have now actually got some sun. we’ve gotten the paddling pool out and scout has been living the summer baby dream. she’s been loving summer as a one year old as last year she was a tiny newborn! but now she’s a big girl and has been sat in the paddling pool all day and loved splashing in the water!

i think we created a complete summer girl as scout has been living the life the past few days. she’s been loving everything from watermelon to sunglasses, scout loves it all! i’ve never seen such a happy baby, her crying has died down and all i see is this perfect happy little lady!

when they say christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, i believe them to by lying as for scout it really is summer!

Hello, everyone! It’s been a little bit and I meant to share earlier, but we’ve officially finished redecorating Alcott, Favor, and Merit’s rooms!

The furniture and paint/wallpaper has been done for two or three weeks, but we had a lot of stuff to hang on the walls in their rooms, and finally got that done yesterday!

They were all able to sleep in their rooms last night - yes, even Merit, she’s getting too big  - and were raving about how fun it was! Though I am 100% sure Favor left her room in the middle of the night to go to Alcott’s room, as she ended up there in the morning  She even brought some of her colorful pillows!

I’ve attached a few photos of their rooms below! We tried to go for a more colorful theme than we had before, as our girls love that, but within the realm of what they like, hence Cotty’s room being a little more muted!

Alcott June’s room!

Simon jokingly pointed out that koala “head” in the store and Alcott insisted that we actually get it. Do I think it’s a little creepy? Yes. Does Cotty get a kick out of that fact, making her love it more? Also yes. The little globe above her bed is probably one of my favorite parts of her room!

She insisted we keep her books themed and only wanted “nature” books. So we picked through the ginormous stack of books, the full bookshelf, and the entire cabinet of them in the playroom, and settled on these ones! The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Tree Book, Peter’s First Easter, Grand Old Oak and the Birthday Ball…I’m not entirely sure these shelves won’t collapse, but she loves it!

My favorite tiny detail of Alcott’s room. Simon, my husband, built this little secret door. It’s so stinking cute!

Favor Elouise’s room!

Favor’s room is the most colorful, a fact that was insisted on by her! She’s definitely our most out-going and loud girl, so I suppose it only makes sense that her room is also the most eclectic! Spot that little W on the wall? Yes, of course. It totally makes sense that she has a W on the wall, right. You know, with the copious amounts of Ws in her name and all  She insisted she get it because it stands for “wild” and “wonderful,” two things her daddy and I always say she is. You are right, Fizzy, you are wild and wonderful!

The “dinosaur corner,” full of decor picked by Favor, solely for the fact that it had dinosaurs on it! She loves them and who am I to stop her from filling her room with dinos? And of course, the hopscotch rug…this rug has been in our living room waiting to be put into Fizzy’s room for weeks and I genuinely didn’t think we’d be able to tear them away from it long enough to bring it in there. Alas, we were able to!

And my favorite little doorhanging rainbow! There is so much rainbow decor in her room, and it fits her perfectly.

Merit Rosalie’s room!

Is this wallpaper a little busy? Yes. Am I still totally unsure if I like it or not? Yes. Is it the one that all of the girls insisted we get, including Merit who was the one to grab it from the shelf? Also yes. We painted the big dresser to match some of the decorations, and the girls helped! Not pictured is the backside that is full of their paintings! It’s really a shame we had to turn it so it’d be actually functional. The other side is so cute!

Merry’s little book corner! Paintings by Alcott, Favor, daddy, and I! Alcott helped pick all of the books we put on her wall…I think she was still hoping to find nature ones for her own room

And the other wall decor! The little tulip is genuinely one of my favorite parts of her room, as is the octopus! A rainbow because all of our girls have one in their bedroom. The bug picture is one that we’ve put in every nursery - Alcott’s, Favor’s, and now Merit’s - it’s funky and weird, and we love it!

I didn’t tag anyone in my first post, sorry about that!

@snowmaiden, Congratulations on Hildegard! Her name is beautiful, as are your other girls! Our Alcott was almost a Vision, we talked about the name Clementine for Merit, and Worthy has always been on our lists too

@CharlotteLovesVolley Aw, congratulations on the pregnancy! That is so exciting!!

@BeeEl Disney sounds so fun!!

@melia22 Yay for a walking baby!! If you don’t mind me asking (because I have a terrible memory), how old is little Scout?

@oakbelle It’s so great to meet you! My husband, Simon, and I have three girls too! Alcott June “Cotty” (6), Favor Elouise “Fizzy” (4, as of last month), and Merit Rosalie “Merry” (8 mo.)!

Hello! We had a slight change of plans in the name game! The name that we origionally picked out was adorable, but, we discovered another name that we love even more! So baby girl will now be offically called [name_f]Baby[/name_f] C, with the initials CA :slightly_smiling_face:
I am now about 30 weeks pregnant with baby C and [name_f]Cami[/name_f] is so excited! We have already finished decorating the nursary!

Next up is an adorable picture of [name_f]Cami[/name_f] the morning after we got back from [name_f]Florida[/name_f]:

[name_f]Cami[/name_f] had a playdate with her best friend [name_f]Mila[/name_f] yesterday!

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is on the left and [name_f]Cami[/name_f] is on the left

hi everybody, i hope everyone is having a nice week!

my parents arrived to stay with us on friday and they are here for the next week. romy is in school so it is just bambs and tully at home during the days. the girls love having their grandparents around, they all have the sweetest bond. we went out into this meadow that runs behind our cottage and the girls loved picking flowers when we had out picnic down there!

i took bambi to her friend lyla’s house the other day. i swear she is a completely different person as soon as we leave the house. she goes from being a complete nutjob, screaming, running around, being a middle child, and as soon as we go somewhere, she is an absolute angel! anyway, it is so lovely seeing her playing with her friends. i always feel bad, romilly has always had so many playdates and tallulah is still too young, but bambs has always been left out of the mix! anyway, lyla’s family live next door to a park with a war memorial inside so the girls loved investigating it! here is bambi outside!

romilly and my mum went on a walk on saturday into town to go to some of the boutiques. roms and my mum have the most special relationship, romilly is even named after her, violet! it was such a warm day. we were all down at the beach and enjoying the sun and heat in the middle of winter!

lula turns three this weekend! i know it’s pretty late, but we would love all of you to bring your kids along to the park to celebrate our girl!

anyway, that is all for now!

Hello everyone! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], and together with my beautiful partner [name_f]Maya[/name_f], I have two daughters, [name_f]Aster[/name_f] [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] (aged 7) and [name_f]Nim[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] (aged 3). We live in the foothills of the Dandenong mountains with Ladybug the kitten and our two ducks, [name_f]Apple[/name_f] and Dippy-duck in a lovely old cottage surrounded by nature. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner is Swedish, and every two years we go over to rural [name_m]Sweden[/name_m] for half a year to stay with her parents. We are raising our children bilingual, at school they speak [name_f]English[/name_f] to their friends and teachers, and at home we speak about 50/50 english/swedish. Of course, in [name_m]Sweden[/name_m] we speak swedish while we’re there.
Here is a little bit about both [name_f]Aster[/name_f] and [name_f]Nim[/name_f], as well as some photos of what we’ve been up to recently
[name_f]Aster[/name_f] [name_f]Hannelore[/name_f] is the most gentle, kind big sister that we could have hoped for. At seven years old, she just transitioned into grade one at the gorgeous waldorf school down the road. She is always smiling and ready with a kind word for anyone, and she just adores playing with [name_f]Nim[/name_f]. She is very gentle while still being full of energy, and she loves running through our backyard, collecting small branches to build fairy houses, and at the end of the day to snuggle up with a cup of herbal tea and be read many, many stories by [name_f]Maya[/name_f] and I.
[name_f]Nim[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], our little bubba. It seems like both forever ago and so recently that Nimma came into our life, but now she is three. We have decided to enrol her in a playgroup (waldorf as well) once a week, so she catches the bus with me (or Maya) and [name_f]Aster[/name_f] every so often. She is enthralled with her older sister, and follows her and her friends about when friends come over. She loves toddling about, and is so curious bout everything she sees. [name_f]Nim[/name_f] is very clever, and is already speaking (albeit a mixture) both english and swedish. Oftentimes she forgets a word in english, but this leads to adorable mixups and conundrums

Here are some photos of the girls, at home and in sweden

[name_f]Nim[/name_f] and me on a hike in [name_m]Sweden[/name_m] last time we went (two years ago!).

We’d love to see you @oakbelle at Tallulah’s birthday! We’ll be there! [name_m]Just[/name_m] a heads up, [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is intolerant to milk, but she can eat butter and cheese

@readingreverie her birthday is may 31st so very almost 14 months old 🫶🏻

@oakbelle we’d love to come!

hello everyone!

i’m so glad it’s finally time for summer, all the adorable summer outfits i’m able to dress scouty in is just melting my hearts. scout is practically the cutest little being to ever exist, and yes i love all her winter outfits but all the summer clothes are just melting my hearts. in the mist of moving out, she got caught up and was having a great time chilling in the car with the air con on. just a girl living the summer dream!

as i just said, yes we have moved! i’m so exited that we’re finally in our own place. yes it is just a small two bedroom apartment, but it’s our which we work and pay for and i feel so lucky to be able to move out at (almost) eighteen! scout is loving her new home, though she’s often surprised by how quiet it is. she’s used to a crazy five year old running the house so i guess this all feels like a bit of a shock.

i’m so exited to properly get decorating, though i know it will take some time. we have signed a one year lease so we have the apartment until july 1st next year! we’ll see where life takes us from there!

@oakbelle We will definitely be at Tallulah’s party!

@whynot [name_m]Welcome[/name_m], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband, [name_m]Simon[/name_m], and I have three daughters: [name_m]Alcott[/name_m] [name_f]June[/name_f] (6), [name_f]Favor[/name_f] [name_f]Elouise[/name_f] (4), and [name_f]Merit[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] (8 mo.) [name_f]Nim[/name_f] is such a fun name! Your [name_f]Aster[/name_f] reminds me a lot of my [name_m]Alcott[/name_m] - both vibrant and imaginative, but gentle! Between both my big girls, Cotty is definitely the more apprehensive and quiet of the two - Fizzy is always bouncing off the walls

It has been forever since we updated! I’ve been visiting family but I’m back now with lots of birthdays!

@whynot [name_m]Welcome[/name_m]! [name_f]Aster[/name_f] is such a beautiful name!
@oakbelle [name_f]Happy[/name_f] almost birthday [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]! The kids would love to come to her party!!

Our second biggest boy - [name_m]Gus[/name_m] turned eight!

[name_m]Gus[/name_m] is still very introverted and quiet! (Quite the surprise in our family!) He is a very sweet boy and very good at keeping himself busy. He notices things I never would and is so thoughtful. He loves [name_m]Toy[/name_m] [name_f]Story[/name_f] and Wall-E and talks a lot about space and rocket ships!

[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] turned six!

[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] is a little sweetheart! She loves animals and her favorite thing to do is read her big animal encyclopedia. She is reading by herself now, which is amazing! Sometimes she needs a little help with big words, but is otherwise independent. She loves Frozen and [name_f]Snow[/name_f] White and is so sweet with her little brothers. She is very girly, which is fun considering she’s our only girl!

[name_m]Rufus[/name_m] turned two!

The baby of the family is no longer a baby at all! [name_m]Roo[/name_m] is a toddling delight. He’s a very smart boy and very smiley! The terrible twos might be true for him, though, he’s been the hardest toddler we’ve had so far. We’ve been working on keeping his hands to himself! He is still a sweet and fun little guy and we are so lucky to have him.

That’s all for us! We’ve been having a busy summer, with all the older kids doing camps and lots of playdates for everyone. The kids even got to sleep over at grandma and grandpa’s for the weekend, which was exciting for them (and very relaxing for [name_m]Will[/name_m] and I, lol!) [name_f]Hope[/name_f] everyone is doing well!

@kiomkio holy cow they got big so fast! cannot believe how quick all the time has gone, happy belated birthday to them! how do you find the age gap between teddy and gus? scout will probably be around three/four years old before we have our second baby. so i’m curious!

@oakbelle happy birthday lula! i can see she had an awesome day and i hope she got spoiled!

we’ve just been enjoying our short bit of english summer! we’re very lucky we live by the beach with our new apartment being right next to the beach, so we’re able to go down there everyday if we please. some days we’re able to, meanwhile others we’ve got lots of work to get done so we skip it. though she’s always ready and exited to go to the beach!

since we’re not living with my boyfriends family anymore, it’s been very odd not seeing them every morning. though recently his little sister has been obsessed with ‘princess picnics’ so we end up coming to those at least three times a week. she brings her yellow beauty and the beast teapot as well as little yellow, plastic tea cups and we sip away for about an hour! we often stay for a while after though, more as an excuse to be out the house. the spot we go to has some water so she’ll sometimes dip her feet, or she’ll just play on the picnic blanket.

i think it’s kind of just hitting me how big our little babies gotten? like scout is very almost fourteen months old now and she’s become to sweet, funniest and most amazing tiny human being. she loves so big and sweetly, i can’t help but be in love with her!

hope everyone else’s weeks are going well!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], everyone! [name_m]Just[/name_m] starting to settle into a new apartment, so I figured now would be a good time to introduce myself!

I’m [name_f]Lacey[/name_f]! I’m a realtor and single mom to a beautiful daughter, [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. (She’s named after her great-grandmother, my Gramma, who was the toughest woman I knew.) She’s 12, turning 13 on [name_f]October[/name_f] 5th. I can’t believe my Purdie is going to be a teenager!!! Aah, time flies.

Purdie is the most intelligent person I know. She’s smarter than me - seriously! She breezes through books and can tell you random facts about seemingly everything. Right now her current obsession is [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] (she’s 100% a Slytherin). She loves all things bookish, fashion, and drawing. She absolutely lights up a room and is so kind to those around her. Seriously, I think she’s made friends with her entire middle school! She has the best manners and is just the most delightful girl.

We just moved to a new apartment, which means Purdie’s going to a new school this year. She’s going into 7th grade. I’m a little bit worried because, you know, middle school girls :grimacing: but I have faith that we can make it work. I’m planning on taking her back to school shopping tomorrow. Does anyone else have kiddos going to the same school?

That’s all for now, bye!

~Lacey & Purdie

P.S. Here’s a picture of Purdie from a few weeks ago when we were at the lake. We went with the extended family and had a blast! Purdie and her cousins ran off and played frisbee while us adults sat around the picnic table!
