[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone, I am looking for some character name ideas for my fantasy story. Ideally these would have a medieval or Anglo-Saxon twist to them. Below are some I have come across that I like:

  • Alfric

I also find myself drawn to Old Welsh or Cornish names such as Goronwy, [name_f]Iola[/name_f], [name_u]Brae[/name_u] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].

Hello!! I use this website a lot if I have a specific region or origin as the inspiration for my names, and they have Old English, Old Norse, and Old Celtic name generators that might be helpful for you. Just scroll down past all the modern day nations they have listed and you’ll find the generators that may be helpful for you. Farther down, they also have fantasy generators that could give you some ideas.
