Faraday

I’ve been crushing on Faraday lately. If [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] can be a name, why not Faraday?

At first I liked it for a boy, since my style for girls is typically more feminine, but I realized I like the potential nns better on a girl. I think [name_f]Farah[/name_f] is kind of cute (I never watched Teen Mom) and I actually dig the 70’s vibe. [name_f]Fairy[/name_f] would be much more wearable on a girl, perhaps even endearing.

However, is the science connection too much? (Faraday effect, Faraday cage, etc.) I think it could be interesting to share a name with a renowned scientist, however it’s also a unit of measurement, and there are many terms and principles named after him. I’m just not sure how famous he/the terms are, to the point where it would be weird.

Does this have any potential or is it better left as a mn?

Also I’ve been noticing I’m really into F names lately, or even names that contain F. There’s something unexpected and a little magical about it for me. Has anyone ever known anyone having issues with having it as an initial? Probably dumb of me to worry about, I’m not one to normally think much of teasing, but tbh there is something that makes me a little nervous about potential big letter Fs everywhere.

Thanks!

I like Faraday too, and think it’s very usable. I also like the idea of [name_f]Farah[/name_f] and [name_f]Fairy[/name_f] as nns. I agree that there’s something a bit unexpected, almost magical, about an F beginning name. I wouldn’t over think it though, and don’t see any issues with it.

I’ll get behind Faraday - and [name_f]Farah[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_m]Farley[/name_m], [name_f]Francine[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for that matter. F names are wonderful!

[name_f]Glad[/name_f] you guys like it enough, it kind of speaks to me. I had a huge obsession with fairies around 8-9, that may be part of it.

[name_m]Farley[/name_m] is super cute! adds to boy list
