I am going to be living and working in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] this summer and would love to hear your favorite [name_f]British[/name_f], or specifically Scottish, names! [name_m]Britain[/name_m] is extremely diverse, so feel free to imagine all different types of [name_f]British[/name_f] names!
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f] [name_f]Bailey[/name_f] [name_f]Rae[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] Zeta-Jones are some notable [name_f]British[/name_f] women you may imagine when you think of.a [name_f]British[/name_f] name
I absolutely adore [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] as a name!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite Scottish name is probably [name_f]Blair[/name_f]- it’s simple and elegant with a flare. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is another Scottish name that came to mind, and could be shortened to [name_f]Fia[/name_f].
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] are really youthful and sweet Scottish names. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is also really pretty.
I love Scottish boy names!! I feel like they come easier to me than girls . I love [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m], [name_m]Lochlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m]
For girls I like
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] does feel sooo [name_f]English[/name_f], right? [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s popular worldwide, it has such a crisp [name_f]English[/name_f] air.
[name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f] are gorgeous! [name_f]Carys[/name_f] in particular is bewitching.
Flora!!! What a perfectly [name_f]British[/name_f] name. I remember there being a [name_f]Flora[/name_f] on GBBO and she really wore it well, so it’s definitely on my list!
Yes, I am so excited! I love Edinburgh and I’ll finally get to see the Fringe festival, which is just unreal.
I love how double-barreled names are common on both sides of the Atlantic, but they still are so distinct (i.e. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] Rose).
[name_f]Marsaili[/name_f] is a new one to me! And I’ve never hear [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_f]Sian[/name_f], or [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] here in the States even though I know they are names, so yes, definitely [name_f]British[/name_f] sounding (but not just [name_f]English[/name_f] sounding like most people would assume with “British”).
We live in England and right now we’re seeing a lot of Ottilie, Maeve, Tabitha, Margot, Aria, Lucia, Genevieve, Poppy, Daisy, Lily. Oh and cant forget the millions of Isla’s lol
@oceanbay wow! i might have to visit just to meet people with those names! i never meet anyone named ottilie, maeve, margot, lucia, poppy, or daisy in the united states!
