The only English tree name I like ([name_u]Rowan[/name_u]) isn’t there. I vote [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]!

In Icelandic I like Reynir and Hlynur the best ([name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_f]Maple[/name_f]).

For a boy; I love [name_m]Birch[/name_m], [name_u]Oakley[/name_u], and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. I would consider [name_u]Linden[/name_u], [name_m]Pine[/name_m], [name_u]Elm[/name_u], Alder, and [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] for middle names. I like [name_f]Cypress[/name_f] but we live in an area where there is [name_f]Cypress[/name_f] this, [name_f]Cypress[/name_f] that, and [name_f]Cypress[/name_f] the other thing. :wink:

I love [name_f]Maple[/name_f], but for a girl’s middle name.

I like [name_u]Linden[/name_u], [name_u]Douglas[/name_u], Alder, [name_f]Cypress[/name_f], and [name_m]Birch[/name_m]. I also like [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] but I think of it as female since I’ve known a doctor named this.

I love both [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_u]Douglas[/name_u]. It’s a shame [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] is generally unpopular on Nameberry, as it is such a handsome name with cute nicknames ([name_m]Doug[/name_m], [name_m]Dougal[/name_m]). :slight_smile:

[name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_f]Cypress[/name_f]. [name_f]Cypress[/name_f], because my dad, a carpenter, is the king of [name_f]Cypress[/name_f]. It is his wood : )

I hope [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] becomes more popular. After not noticing it much before, I recently fell in love with it. I like [name_m]Dougal[/name_m] and [name_u]Donegal[/name_u] and I love that it is the name of a tree. The name feels green and strong and manly to me.
