What’s your favorite girls’ name ending in -ine (e.g. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f], [name_f]Emeline[/name_f])?
I love all three that you listed, but also [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]

I must admit, I think [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] is extraordinarily dowdy.
Eveline is my current favorite! I also love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Proserpine[/name_f], and [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f], although I would pronounce them to rhyme with fine.
some other favourites are:

[name_f]Thomasine[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursuline[/name_f]
[name_f]Zephyrine[/name_f]
Celandine!
Clementine is mine!
Evangeline nn [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is highest on my list, but sometimes I wonder if I don’t like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] more? I would do [name_f]Eva[/name_f] as a stand-alone if not for my deep love of my [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] combo lol ([name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Dagny[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]!). I also love [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. So one of those three lol.
Evangeline is definitely my favorite. I’ve always thought it was so elegant. I also enjoy [name_f]Eveline[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. I prefer if the -ine ending is pronounced “een” usually.
Love the suggestions of [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] and [name_f]Vespertine[/name_f] too
Delphine is definitely past its prime in [name_f]France[/name_f], but I think it’s starting to feel like a fresh possibility to American ears now — like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] but even less popular.
Some of my favorites:
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Francine[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadine[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
Severine
[name_f]Sistine[/name_f]
[name_f]Opaline[/name_f]
[name_u]Peregrine[/name_u]
[name_f]Seline[/name_f] (Prefer [name_f]Selene[/name_f] but still putting it)
[name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
[name_f]Celandine[/name_f]
[name_f]Zephyrine[/name_f]
Azurine
[name_f]Marceline[/name_f]
[name_f]Victorine[/name_f]
Emmeline, [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] (in that order)
I class the names differently according to end sound even though the spelling is the same.
Catherine (ends with a short i sound)
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (ends with a long i sound)
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (ends with a long e sound)
