Favorite Name Pairings for Pets

What are some not so common name pairings you have used or heard of for two pets, ones that were really clever, humorous or stood out to you? (If the reference isnt totally obvious pls share what it is).

When I was younger we had a [name_m]Jake[/name_m] and [name_m]Elwood[/name_m] (Blues Brothers). I once met two St Bernards named [name_u]Flip[/name_u] and Flop.

And I knew people who had a dog sled team where all dogs were named after types of whiskey, which I thought was funny.

I think [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] would be cute for a pair of pets (after a nutty old country song, “Goodbye Earl,” where both the names are used).

I’ve also known pets with number names. Sixer and [name_m]Five[/name_m] were two of my grandparents’ St. Bernards when I was small. Now, they have colorful cats! Their names are [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], (both girls) named by myself and my sister. :paw_prints:

We had guinea pigs named Minstrel and Malteaser
