I’m a big fan of the name [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] with an S. What nicknames do you like best for this name and what vibe/imagery does [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] give?
[name_f]Elisa[/name_f] is probably my favorite nickname for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]I also like:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lissie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Birdie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lilibeth[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Lisa[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beta[/name_f]
I prefer Elisabeth over Elizabeth. She gives soft, pink and honey-brown vibes. I picture a girl in a meadow at sunset, laughing and holding a bouquet of wildflowers.
My favorite nicknames for her are Elisa, Libby, and Beth.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_f]Bitsy[/name_f]!

[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elsa[/name_f]

[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] feels European, sleek and gentle.

[name_f][/name_f]Liesy
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Liseli[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elsi[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Ebbie[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Libby[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Libby[/name_f]
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is really pretty
[name_f][/name_f]I think [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is sweet, elegant, with a pretty ballerina flair and is beyond timeless. Such a pretty name. Nicknames surrounding her could be [name_f]Lissie[/name_f], [name_f]Bitsy[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Lisa[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] + [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].
[name_f]Sisi[/name_f], like the empress for me! [name_m]Or[/name_m] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]!
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] has always been my favorite!
[name_f][/name_f]I prefer Eliza/Elisa, [name_f]Bette[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], and [name_f]Bess[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] a lot! [name_f][/name_f] I think I’d use [name_f]Sisi[/name_f] as a nickname because I love it, but I also love [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Elisa[/name_f], and like [name_f]Libby[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], and [name_f]Bea[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f] I think they’re a stretch but I would consider [name_f]Tess[/name_f] or [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] too. [name_f][/name_f] If [name_f]Bess[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] can work for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], I think [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] can too.
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Or[/name_m] even Eliza… I think it makes less sense for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but I adore [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and prefer [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] to [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], so I would probably try and make it work.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] feels sweet and timeless and a bit of an old soul, a lover of learning and books and animals. [name_f][/name_f] Feminine but not super girly.
[name_f][/name_f]Good luck!

[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f]Love[/name_f] how you described Elisabeth!! Really digging [name_f]Bess[/name_f] and [name_f]Bessie[/name_f]! Thank you!
Am often suggesting Elisabeth on here - I like both versions but the S one feels more 19th century European and at the same time mid-century American. It’s both gentle & very sleek/ self-assured.
My fave nicknames are Tibby (my top!), Elsa/ Elsie, Sibby, Sisi and Lily/Lil.
[name_f]Tibby[/name_f] is so sweet! So many good nicknames for [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- love it!
