[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites (not on your list) would be [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f], [name_f]Dandelion[/name_f], [name_f]Heather[/name_f], [name_f]Posey[/name_f], [name_f]Peony[/name_f] & lately [name_f]Sunflower[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite that hasn’t been mentioned yet is [name_f]Forsythia[/name_f]! Especially with the nn [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
I would absolutely consider using: [name_f]Azalea[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f], [name_f]Edelweiss[/name_f], [name_f]Myrtle[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Larkspur[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], [name_f]Wildrose[/name_f] and [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]. And [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is within my current top 10!
I’ve been loving [name_f]Aster[/name_f] and [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] lately, so love seeing those. But also: [name_m]Campion[/name_m] (so cool!), [name_f]Edelweiss[/name_f], [name_f]Freesia[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f], [name_f]Orchid[/name_f], [name_f]Larkspur[/name_f], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f], [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f], etc! And big fan of [name_f]Jonquil[/name_f], so happy to see her here.
I would add [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] to this, I think it means “terebinth tree”, although I guess it’s not a word name (same with [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], etc.). I do love [name_f]Posy[/name_f] and [name_f]Peony[/name_f] and [name_f]Calanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] that have been mentioned already!
We have [name_f]Prairie[/name_f] Rose’s all over the place here. Tbh honest [name_f]Ive[/name_f] never really thought about using it! But it is beautiful!
I just went to an arboretum with my husband this morning and I spotted [name_f]Liriope[/name_f] & Liatris plus a [name_f]Salvia[/name_f] that was also labeled “Meadow Sage.” Also a plant called [name_f]Coral[/name_f] Bells (I thought [name_f]Coral[/name_f] Belle/Corabel/Corabelle would be a cute choice relating to the plant. I also spotted a Gentina & Yellow [name_m]Quill[/name_m] [name_f]Chrysanthemum[/name_f]. I actually like the idea of [name_f]Crisanta[/name_f] [name_m]Quill[/name_m] or [name_m]Quill[/name_m] [name_f]Chrysanthemum[/name_f]
I found a flower called Delonix, not on the database, plus 2 Bangali flower names, Gulab & Polash. Gulab, means Rose, and Polash, is a red flower, only i couldn’t find an English translation. I was glad to see Nameberry recently added Juhi, Bangla for jasmine
