Favorite spelling and honest impressions, pretty please!

I’m a writer on the hunt for a fabulous pseudonym! I’m not sure if I want to consider something similar to my own name or something totally different that fits me. My real name is kaysha, derived from the gorgeous [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] tree. Everyone butchers my real name (most common is [name_u]Kesha[/name_u] or [name_f]Keisha[/name_f]) despite my mother’s choice of the phonic spelling. So my question is… would [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] work as a pseudonym? And what’s your favorite spelling?

[name_f]Kaya[/name_f] - closest to my name, really just cutting out the “sh” part.
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] - in between
[name_f]Caia[/name_f] - closest to [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] and has the benefit of the [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_f]Goddess[/name_f] of fire reference.
[name_f]Kaja[/name_f] - the Scandinavian version (I have family who comes from Uppsala [name_u]Sweden[/name_u])

Or do you prefer [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]? or my initials K.V. [name_f]Briar[/name_f]? [name_f]Briar[/name_f], Vallen, [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], [name_m]Allen[/name_m], and [name_m]Robinson[/name_m] are family surname choices. (I also love/ have meaning/ personal connections to the first names [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], [name_u]Brighton[/name_u], [name_f]Viveka[/name_f], [name_u]Echo[/name_u], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f])

Thoughts?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] any seem more “fiery red head” to you (I have red hair and grey/blue eyes)? Any other ideas? I’m desperate at this point!!!

[name_f]TIA[/name_f]

[name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce [name_f]Kaya[/name_f]?
I pronounce “kah-ee-ah”.
I do think you could use [name_f]Aisha[/name_f] or [name_f]Kara[/name_f] too. Between your choices, I would go with [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaya[/name_f]. But overall, I would use [name_f]Kara[/name_f].
Good luck on finding the perfect name!

[name_f]Caia[/name_f]! It’s a unique and kind of spitfire name.

[name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is beautiful and fierce, and [name_f]Caia[/name_f] is also great. I don’t know that [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] really solves your problem, if it’s partly pronunciation, because it could be either [name_u]KAY[/name_u]-a or [name_u]KAI[/name_u]-a.

I say go with your initials, K V [name_f]Briar[/name_f].

For writing I’d go with K V [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it

I would use [name_f]Acacia[/name_f].

Thanks everyone, that really helped!

I think I’m now leaning towards K.V. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] (feels the most “me” but I’m worried initials aren’t memorable enough…)
[name_f]Caia[/name_f]
[name_f]Acacia[/name_f]

If we’re talking about fiery redheads, I personally think [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] and [name_f]Caia[/name_f] fit the bill.

I agree, for writing, I can totally see: Witten by best-selling author, K.V. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] =]
