What’s your favourite [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nickname and why?
There are so many gorgeous ones, but I’m not a fan of the generally assumed [name_f]Liz[/name_f].

my favourite is probably elsie !! i also love sweet bessie. i think if my name were elizabeth, i’d go by lizzie though.

I really like [name_f]Libby[/name_f] because she sounds bright and sunny and [name_f]Bee[/name_f] / [name_f]Bea[/name_f] for a similar reason. If I were an [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] I would like to go by [name_f]Leta[/name_f]!

I am not that creative with nicknames, I would go by [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] myself.

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is on my list as a name by herself, but I’m obsessed with Bessie/Bess as a shortening of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I came across it on Gogglebox (one of the Leeds sisters has a [name_f]Bessie[/name_f], although I think it’s her full name) and I thought it just sounded so sweet, soft, friendly and vintage!
