What is your location?
I was between [name_f]Keziah[/name_f] and [name_f]Winona[/name_f]. I’m in the US.
I’m Swedish living in Australia. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner is of Ukrainian descent.
I adore [name_f]Keziah[/name_f] and [name_f]Winona[/name_f]
[name_f]Eowyn[/name_f]
I also really like [name_f]Winona[/name_f], [name_f]Arrietty[/name_f], and [name_f]Nelia[/name_f]!
(Personally I think all of the names are familiar enough!)
Than I’d say a name more familiar in [name_f]English[/name_f], like [name_f]Nelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Tuva[/name_f].
Ideally I would like a name that sounds about the same in any accent. [name_f]My[/name_f] own name is [name_f]Stina[/name_f], which works everywhere but is considered unique here in Australia. I always get compliments about it and it’s easy to spell. I would want my future daughter (if I have one) to have a similar experience.
I adore [name_u]Alva[/name_u].
I’m a [name_u]Finn[/name_u] living in the UK and feel the same way - I prefer names that sound mostly the same in either language and are easy to spell!
I’m in Australia. [name_f]Winona[/name_f] is easy to spell. It’s familiar but rare here. If you wanted to go for unique I would go for [name_f]Nelia[/name_f] as the other names have been used more than the two I mentioned and [name_f]Aroa[/name_f] would be familiar to those from [name_u]New[/name_u] Zealand.
Exactly! It’s such a lovely name. So simple, easy to spell and sound the same in any accent. [name_f]My[/name_f] partner doesn’t like it though. He thinks it sounds like [name_u]Alto[/name_u], which means car in Ukrainian. I kind of don’t like how crazy popular it is in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] either. [name_u]Alva[/name_u] has been on my list for like 10 years now, but I’m always searching for “the one”.
I went with [name_f]Keziah[/name_f] but if [name_f]Sofronia[/name_f] was spelled [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f], I’d have went with her. (US)
Just want to say that I love your list! Eclectic and stylish and sweet. I voted for [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] but I also like [name_f]Tuva[/name_f], [name_u]Alva[/name_u] and [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f] (but strongly prefer the ph spelling).
I was between [name_f]Eowyn[/name_f] and Arietty
