I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] better, too but [name_f]Fay[/name_f] is also nice.
To add a poll you click [name_f]Edit[/name_f] post, then there should be Attach a poll, I suppose.

I dislike [name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Faye[/name_f] as a name but I kind of prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as it looks more feminine to me.

As for adding a poll got o the thread (which if you are reading this you must be here). On the top grey bar (just below the thread title and facebook “like” button) there should be a drop down menu called “Thread tools” There should be an option for “[name_m]Add[/name_m] a poll to this thread”.

I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] definitely looks more complete, although I prefer [name_f]Fae[/name_f], because it’s closer to the Old English spelling, and because I love the look of ‘ae’.

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] for sure.

I’d prefer [name_f]Fay[/name_f], of those two.

But prefer [name_f]Mai[/name_f]/[name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_u]Rae[/name_u], and [name_u]Kay[/name_u] as names. I also like really [name_f]Faith[/name_f], which is one of the sources of [name_f]Fae[/name_f]/[name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Faye[/name_f] as a name, but I’m absurdly fond of the “th” sound. Admittedly, [name_f]Faith[/name_f] doesn’t have the pixie quality of [name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Fae[/name_f].

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] just doesn’t appeal. And I keep seeing it as an aye sound, like “fie on you.”

Definitely like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] better but as pp said - [name_f]Fae[/name_f] would be my fave!

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] definitely. But I think [name_f]Fae[/name_f] is even better

I love [name_f]Fae[/name_f] the most as suggested above.

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is the best way to spell it! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name.

[name_u]Poll[/name_u] added! - thanks xmintiex!

I hadn’t even considered [name_f]Fae[/name_f] really since I’ve never heard it used. But I do think it’s really lovely, possibly the most fairy-like. (Anyone know how to add another option to polls? Hhaha)

I prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f], and I really like the name.

I prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f] to [name_f]Fay[/name_f], but [name_f]Fae[/name_f] to [name_f]Faye[/name_f]!!

Of the two, I prefer [name_f]Fay[/name_f], but I like the [name_f]Fae[/name_f] spelling the most

I definitely prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! I agree, it looks more complete to me! I think it’s such a soft, feminine sounding name! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has chosen [name_f]Fae[/name_f] as a mn for our next daughter…I prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f]/[name_f]Fay[/name_f] over [name_f]Fae[/name_f] but I let him decide.

I definitely prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. ‘[name_f]Fay[/name_f]’ certainly means ‘fairy,’ but it has an older meaning of ‘crazy’ too.

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] gets my vote. She looks more complete and feminine to me! I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Fae[/name_f] either, I like the ‘y’, I think it adds a softness to the look of the name

For me it depends on the other name in the combo.

[name_f]Faye[/name_f] is better if you don’t have a name with a hanging letter (g,j,p,q,y)

[name_f]Fae[/name_f] would be best if the other name in the combo contains a handing letter.

(eg. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] doesn’t looks as good as [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f])
