Today is all about the name Fëdor, which I have been loving since two long years! Probably one of the first boy names I actually loved (since before I did not really care for boy names…)
Not sure if it goes well with my other favourites (I think a lot of people here know me and my style pretty well), but I don’t mind if it is ecletic - or eccentric! With the the other ones.
I probably would not be using any nickname, maybe Fedya, but if someone else has got any suggestions, throw those in please!
I don’t have any combos since I think it would go quiet well alone, but Fëdor Niccolò would be cool in my opinion!
What is your opinion on this name?
The problem is that I have got no relation to Russia myself. But I found out that this is the second favourite boy name of my partner (their first favourite would be Félicien), who has Russian descent (for half) and speaks Russian as well and, even though we both are too young to have any children, we enjoy to talk about names and I think this is very cool as a name!
Also the relation to Dostoevskij: I love this author, since it has been one of my favourite authors, and it would have a meaning by honouring my love for literature.
I just wanted to ask the greatest question: what vibes, aesthetics, feels or all those good things it gives to you? And maybe if you can give me a (second) middle or other middle ideas! I prefer two middle names!
What spelling is better?
- Fëdor
- Fyodor
