Feedback and opinions are welcome

A few name ideas that we ponder and would appreciate any feedback. Crazy, love it, hate it, trendy, dated interesting, odd…

[name]Eli[/name] - Like.
[name]Winn[/name] - Is this for a boy or girl? for a girl I like [name]Winnie[/name] better. For a boy it’s ok, don’t really care for, but don’t really dislike it either.
[name]Wes[/name] - Not bad.
[name]Dustin[/name] - Dated.
[name]Walt[/name] - [name]Love[/name] as a nickname for [name]Walter[/name].
[name]Winnie[/name] - [name]Love[/name], but needs to be a nickname for something I think.
[name]Sylvia[/name] - Ok, not a crazy about it though.
[name]Wilma[/name] - A little odd. I prefer [name]Willa[/name] much more.
[name]Shayna[/name] - Trendy, and not in a good way.

[name]Walt[/name] and [name]Winnie[/name] are definitely my favorites. Would make a cute brother and sister too!

[name]Eli[/name] – Probably my favorite on your list for a boy.
[name]Winn[/name]-- Okay. Not nuts about it. Seems like it is short for something. What? And is it for a girl or a boy?
[name]Wes[/name] – Again, seems like nn, so I want to know more. Is it short for [name]Wesley[/name], [name]West[/name]? Girl? Boy? Okay, but not inspiring.
[name]Dustin[/name] – Very dated. One of those names too tied to the end of the Twentieth Century. Maybe it will be fresh and usable again – in about 100 years.
[name]Walt[/name] – I know people are thinking about [name]Walter[/name], and consequently, [name]Walt[/name]. To me it will always be the first name of [name]Mickey[/name], Goofy, [name]Cinderella[/name], and the [name]Little[/name] Mermaid. But others are moving on, I have to admit.
[name]Winnie[/name] – Are you thinking of a nn as a given name? I know that is done, but I like it better when the nn is well established and little more substantial – [name]Kate[/name], for example.
[name]Sylvia[/name] – Still a middle-aged name to me. Like even [name]Silver[/name] better.
[name]Wilma[/name] – I just don’t like it. Agree with pp, like [name]Willa[/name] or [name]Willow[/name] – or even [name]Willabella[/name] – much better.
[name]Shayna[/name] – This is the side of country I don’t love. And it’s trendy. If you are going to make up a name, there are much more fetching sound combinations.

[name]Eli[/name] – I like this. Definitely becoming popular, though.
[name]Winn[/name] – don’t care for it
[name]Wes[/name] – I like this a lot, but as a nn for [name]Wesley[/name]
[name]Dustin[/name] – dated.
[name]Walt[/name] – very cute!
[name]Winnie[/name] – very cute nickname, don’t care for it as a stand alone name
[name]Sylvia[/name] – I really like this. There is a baby [name]Sylvia[/name] at our daycare (and a baby [name]Lydia[/name] in the same class!)
[name]Wilma[/name] – I like it, I like [name]Willa[/name] as well.
[name]Shayna[/name] – don’t like at all.
