Frederick Finch and Felix Finch have sort of hovered around the same ranking if our list. I think Felix is an absolutely adorable name and really really like it. However, it sort if…. Just feels like a name. I don’t know if there is anything special about it. It’s also much more popular. I feel like Frederick has a bit more pizazz, but I feel like I sort of struggle pronouncing it a bit? We don’t love when it sounds like Fred and Rick got smashed together, we prefer the separation of Fred-er-ick. But I feel like every time I say it out loud it comes out as Fred-Rick. Help!

I know what you mean about [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], you have to concentrate to make it a three syllable name, which makes it much more refined. I prefer the nickname [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] to any shortening of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] - but assume you can go for full name [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] “concern” with [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] is as I’ve said before, the whole Cat-Bird thing. I do like both names but not sure I’d put them together. Both [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] are preppy, handsome names, I think it comes down to how much you like [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] v [name_m]Felix[/name_m] as he’s unlikely get [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] very often.

[name_m]Felix[/name_m] is bright, cheerful and lovely
I like both names but prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with the middle name [name_u]Finch[/name_u]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the alliteration!
I’m a major [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] fan! [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] would also be really neat nowadays, but I totally get what you mean about the syllables; I feel like most people would pronounce it as Fred-Rick.
I prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with mn [name_u]Finch[/name_u], but I understand your qualms with the sound and look of [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]. Would a different spelling help? Would you be open to just Freddie/Freddy? [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] sounds very cool.
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] makes me say [name_m]Felix[/name_m] Flinch its a little tongue twisty
I like [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] as fred-rick. But then again Im a [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and I would never say it as 3 syllables.
[name_u]Freddie[/name_u] [name_u]Finch[/name_u] is nice!
I do prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with [name_u]Finch[/name_u], but I greatly prefer [name_m]Felix[/name_m] over [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] in general. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is such a happy go lucky name, while [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] feels fusty to me.
