I like both - [name_m]Felix[/name_m] has a lovely meaning and a fun and unusual -x ending. However, deep within my heart, I just prefer [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]. I think it’s so distinguished and intelligent sounding, and a little more unusual than [name_m]Felix[/name_m].
I prefer [name_m]Felix[/name_m]- mostly just negative personal associations with [name_m]Gideon[/name_m].
I love both names, but I have to go with [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. It’s just such a happy name! Reminds me of sunshine and laughter.

Funny, I feel like I’ve made this exact thread before! I did much debating about [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] when I was first starting out.
