Female variations of "Andrew"

Any ideas on feminizing “[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]” for a middle name? We have come up with [name_f]Ann[/name_f], [name_u]Andrea[/name_u], [name_f]Andi[/name_f], [name_u]Drew[/name_u], and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] so far. We don’t like [name_f]Annie[/name_f] for the first names we are considering.

There’s also [name_f]Andrina[/name_f], [name_f]Andriana[/name_f], and [name_f]Andra[/name_f]. Or, you could use something like [name_u]Rue[/name_u].

[name_f]Drucilla[/name_f] or [name_f]Drea[/name_f] is the only other one I could think of, it really depends on the first name. If you want to stray farther away from the root, any [name_f]Ann[/name_f] variation could work. [name_u]Julianne[/name_u], [name_f]Tianna[/name_f], [name_f]Diana[/name_f].

I love [name_u]Andrea[/name_u] with the nickname [name_f]Andi[/name_f]! Other ideas: [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f], [name_f]Andrine[/name_f]

[name_u]Drew[/name_u] might be the only unisex name that I really like.

I love the idea of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]! I think something like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Drusilla[/name_f] would be fantastic. Otherwise, I think [name_f]Ann/name_f, [name_u]Andrea[/name_u], and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are your best options from what you’ve listed so far.

Good luck!

[name_f]Andera[/name_f] or [name_f]Andra[/name_f].

There is the full on feminization [name_f]Andrewina[/name_f], which I think is actually kind of fun and works for the middle.

I’m not sure how close / obvious you want to stick to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], but I think any name that has the potential nickname “[name_u]Andy[/name_u]” in it would honor an [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. If you click “Names” and type in the “Contains” box “and” you’ll get lots of suggestions that may or may not work. Again, all depends on how close to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] you want to be. Some I like:

[name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] – a bold name, but for the middle spot has a lot of personality and is closer to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]!
[name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Amanda[/name_f] / [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] – not a fan of these ones, but they do seem more obviously [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] than some, and I don’t think they were mentioned.
[name_f]Andea[/name_f]
Andras / [name_f]Andris[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Chandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Corisande[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacaranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Leandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Melisande[/name_f] / [name_f]Melisandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Pandora[/name_f]
[name_f]Tandie[/name_f]
[name_f]Xandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Zandie[/name_f]

My name full name is [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but I am always called [name_f]Andie[/name_f]. It is a bit of a stretch but [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] could work too. I also like both [name_u]Drew[/name_u] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] on their own.

I love the name [name_u]Andrea[/name_u]! Is [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] straying too far from the roots? For a middle name, [name_u]Drew[/name_u] is great as well!
