[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries, I’m due in a couple days and can not get [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] out of my head but it is a recent discovery for me and not sure but I could just be totally hormonal. Siblings are sc@rlett & s@die. Other serious contenders are
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] (my husband’s fave)
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] (reservations as there is a [name_m]William[/name_m] I don’t want to honor but I’m afraid it may seem like I am?)
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Roxana[/name_f] ([name_f]Roxie[/name_f])
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]??? (Another recent addition to the list)
We are team green and are undecided on boy’s names as well…
Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions! Thank you!
Definitely [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] brings to mind the actress although her name is spelled differently. I like the meaning behind the name, but I’m not a fan of the name itself, especially as a first. What about [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]? [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]? [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]?
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is cute! You do risk people calling her the kinda awkward nickname, “[name_u]Fife[/name_u]” which could or couldn’t be weird. As an adult she may become Dr. [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] Whateveryourlastnameis so take that into consideration as well. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is also really nice when done well, it needs a good middle name to tie it all together. You could do [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to ground it a little. Cute nickname would be [name_f]Bea[/name_f].
What about [name_u]Piper[/name_u]? It’s similar to [name_u]Fifer[/name_u], but a bit more common?
Also, I do think many of your names work with [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] as a middle name:
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
I love the suggestion of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u], as well!
I love the spunky, unexpected [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]. I have it on my long list. It’s a nice twist on the more popular [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. It is also meaningful to my family, along with [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. Although in reality I am unsure I would personally be able to use it as a first name or not.
I also adore [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
I don’t understand where [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] came from. It’s unattractive and unfeminine, especially with sisters [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]. The other names on your list would make far better choices.
Haha I’m not sure where it come from either! I think because this is my fourth and final child I wanted something a little unexpected and I just love fifers energy but Im not sure I can actually use it. My husband’s definite favorite is [name_f]Eve[/name_f] which I think is so lovely but it does seem very safe and expected, which is maybe good tho..
I’ve never heard of [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] before but my first impression is the adorable energy it possesses; it’s very similar to [name_u]Piper[/name_u] not just in sound but in character. It also follows the last-name-first trend.
I can see why you can’t stop thinking about it, [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] is an intriguing choice.
As for the other names on your list, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is my favorite, followed by [name_f]Eve[/name_f], then [name_f]Willa[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], then [name_f]Eve[/name_f], then [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]. I don’t loooove the rest of your list.
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Fifer[/name_u]
[name_u]Fifer[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
My favourites out of your list are [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. If [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] was [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], then it would come next, but I’m not a fan of the ‘x’ ending.
