  • Felix Jeffrey K : 36 (35%)
  • Isaac Jeffrey K: 38 (37%)

I chose [name]Felix[/name] because I like the name, but also because it sounds best with your K last name. [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] end with that K sound while [name]Felix[/name] sneaks in an S sound at the end to break it up.

I think the other two are fine names, for the record

I love [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] pretty equally. [name]Dominic[/name] sounds better with [name]Jeffrey[/name]. [name]How[/name] many syllables is your surname?

[name]Will[/name] be back later to vote!

I know [name]Isaac[/name] is more common but I love it’s strong, manly sound and it means Laughter. Best of both worlds.

I like all three of your options, but I voted for [name]Dominic[/name] because I think it flows best with [name]Jeffrey[/name]. However if your last name has 3 or 4 syllables I’d go with [name]Felix[/name].

ottilie: our last name is technically two syllables (prn kahr-rer), but it is most often just heard as karr, which in my book is close enough (I have heard some very strange interpretations by telemarketers over the years)

I voted for [name]Felix[/name]. [name]Love[/name] the happy meaning behind the name! It is one of my favorites. [name]Dominic[/name] is also really nice. Handsome and strong sounding.

[name]Isaac[/name] doesn’t compare in my opinion.

I was going in between [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Felix[/name], but I just like [name]Isaac[/name] [name]Jeffrey[/name] best with your last name

I am slightly concerned with the c ending of [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] blending with the beginning of our last name (I keep saying it out loud to get a better feel), but I dont think that people would really confuse our last name to be without the k at the beginning, it just wouldn’t sound like a real word. Also, [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] are common enough that you would probably not hear it as something else. With the middle name splitting it up I thought they sound good. I thought [name]Felix[/name] sounded a little choppy with the middle but goes well with the last. Wife is telling me I am putting waay too much thought into it. I cant help myself. Keep the votes/comments/ etc coming.

I voted for [name]Isaac[/name] because I have a son named [name]Isaac[/name]. I think it’s an awesome name, strong and unique and meaningful.

I voted [name]Felix[/name]. [name]Felix[/name] sounds amazing with your surname (My boyfriend has the same type of surname as you, technically two syllables but sounds like one!) and with [name]Jeffrey[/name].

I voted [name]Felix[/name], but really I equally like [name]Isaac[/name].

I voted for and love [name]Isaac[/name] the best… even if it is a bit more popular, I don’t hear it all that often and it is so strong & handsome. My next choice would be [name]Felix[/name] - and it sounds great with your last name. I feel like [name]Dominic[/name] is ok but will be shortened to [name]Dom[/name] and it would be my last choice.

I really liked [name]Dominic[/name] best. I like the flow (3-2-? in syllable count; no matter what your surname is, it’s better than 2-2-?). It’s sleek, masculine and not overused. Depending on where you live and who your son goes to nursery school with, [name]Felix[/name] is either a) the yupster name par excellence, and a dime a dozen; b) the name of a borderline-pornographic cat; or c) cannon fodder for bullies. [name]Isaac[/name] is either evangelical Protestant or Hasidic Jewish (more likely, of course, to be [name]Yitzhak[/name]) and sounds like ‘eye-sack.’

[name]Dominic[/name] gets my vote.

I’ve never known a [name]Felix[/name] or an [name]Isaac[/name] so I don’t have a stereotype in mind for those names. It is interesting how names are viewed that way. I do worry that both [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] will rise too high up the popularity charts. Does anyone know a resource to get an accurate ranking list for 2012 babies (or realistic guess)? I am pretty sure SSA does not release their list until [name]May[/name] which will likely be too late for us

I think the “c” sound on the end on [name]Dominic[/name] may be a little to similar to a K last name. The c on the end of Isacc is a softer “c” sound so I think it works. Isacc is my favorite!

I’m partial to [name]Felix[/name]. I think [name]Dominic[/name] and [name]Isaac[/name] run into your last name too much. [name]Isaac[/name] especially could sound like Isaacar [name]IMO[/name]. Good luck.

[name]Isaac[/name] is my favourite boy’s name but there’s something about [name]Dominic[/name] [name]Jeffrey[/name] that I love!

I voted for [name]Felix[/name]. Like a lot of PP, I think [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] will run into your last name, and prefer the sound of [name]Felix[/name] K___. It also happens to be my favourite of the three names. It has one of the best meanings out there (if that’s something even remotely important to you), and it’s both classic and quirky. [name]Dominic[/name] would be second, in my opinon, and [name]Isaac[/name], third. I just know too many of them, so it seems like a really common name in my mind.
