I love both names. [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is beautifully versatile, having a delicate fairy-like feel while also having that spunky nature vibe that caters to a hands-on, adventurous kind of personality.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is a beautiful classic that would perfectly match [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]. Using [name_f]Fern[/name_f] would prevent [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] from being the odd one out of the sibset however, which is probably more important.
Perhaps keep both options in mind and see which feels like a better fit when the baby comes

I agree that using [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] would leave [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] the odd one out.
And regardless, I think [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is the more intriguing option! I love her soft, earthy vibrancy <3
I would just wait when you’ve narrowed it down to two. Choose when you see her

I prefer [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] between the two I prefer [name_f]Fern[/name_f], and I also think it balances better with your other children’s names, since that is something you care about. If you don’t have a middle name pinned down [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is lovely.

[name_f]Fern[/name_f] gets my vote. It’s fresh, fun, sweet and understated. I think it matches your other girls’ names better than [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] in the spunkiness department. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is super soft and beautiful but [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] and [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] are just so funky and quirky — [name_f]Fern[/name_f] feels like a natural sister.

Definitely prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], both on its own and for your sibset.
I think [name_f]Fern[/name_f] clashes with the other sibling names (more of a hippy, nature vibe than funky classic/vintage you already have).

Either name is beautiful! [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is on my own short list, but only because hubs vetoed [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. I think they both go well with your other childrens names too. We are taking a list to the hospital with us to see what she “looks like” before we name her. Best of luck.
I love both names. I slightly prefer [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. And with your sib set I think it makes [name_u]Pepper[/name_u] seem less of an outlier! Good luck.
[name_f]Fern[/name_f] could be [name_u]Fee[/name_u], [name_f]Fifi[/name_f], Fernie, [name_f]Fey[/name_f], Fen… hm, not too many options from the name itself. Still, a nickname can be anything you like — nothing to stop you calling her [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] or [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] or anything else that evolves naturally!
