Disclaimer: I’m not TTC or Pregnant, just trying to make a few combinations up because I don’t have any
So thanks to my previous thread, and a couple of outlier combos I’ve come up with, I have a lot of FN/MN sets with [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] now and can’t decide which I like best.
I’ve narrowed it down to;
[ol][/ol]
Names in italics are honour names! LN begin with D and is two syllables.
Which combination do you think would work the best? Thanks!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] FYI: [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_u]Brook[/name_u] is a well-known glamour model here in the UK, in case the association bothers you.
I like [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] best. I enjoy the balance of sturdy, traditional names paired with lively, sparky [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]. [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is especially sweet and unexpected!
[name_m]Ah[/name_m] yes, I forgot about her! I don’t think it’d be too common of an association here though, in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] I think she’s pretty unknown.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f]. Easily my favorite!
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] are runner-ups. And I know [name_f]Marie[/name_f] gets a bad rap for being a “filler middle,” but I love the name and the way it flows with your surname!
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f] - usually I’m against repeating sounds, but I think [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f] really works. Could also occasionally call her K.C./[name_u]Kasey[/name_u].
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] - I’m not sure why I really like this one, I just do. Both names really compliment each other and it avoids so many of the issues that face other middle name options: no repeating sounds, no similar endings, no awkward syllable counts. I can totally imagine a [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]-[name_u]Jo[/name_u] out there in the world.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is such a catch all middle name because it works with so many names. [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] gives a really sweet vibe to it. I assume it’s also a nod to [name_f]Mary[/name_f].
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] - potentially a little dull, but they do sound nice together. Personally I’d got for [name_f]Anne[/name_f] with an ‘e’ (not just because I love that TV show. I think it adds a bit more balance to the name when written, [name_f]Ann[/name_f] seems a little short.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is darling and so unexpected with [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], it really mixes your 90s theme with a more vintage feel.
Top 5 middles for [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] -
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds so gorgeous with [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]. I love the look of the name combo a lot too.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - Echoing Maerad here
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f] - Agreed with Maerad, again.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] - I love Vanessas’ history and connections so it was hard not add her here.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] - [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] sounds very fresh yet 90s to me so I think it really makes the name a little more wearable on a baby today.
My favorites are [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f]. All are nice, but I really enjoy [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Christina[/name_f].
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - there’s something nice about the simplicity of this
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] - there’s something really vibrant about this - I don’t know quite how to describe it but it feels energetic and interesting
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - short and sweet, can’t go wrong with it
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] - [name_f]Renee[/name_f] brings flair to the name, I like it
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] - unexpected but very lovely!
I think [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] might be my fave, followed but [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
I like [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] the best, [name_u]Haley[/name_u]! I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] names for you, but [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is so fun and I was surprised by how much I like it. And [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]! There’s just something about her, even though I don’t generally love [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] too much. I think any of those is a winner!
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is super nice, too, but I think I like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] even more.
