Finn & Ren with Bennett…

Hello, I am currently pregnant with baby #4[name_f][/name_f]. I don’t know the gender yet, but if it’s a boy I have a few names I’m tossing around. But, I am loving the names [name_m]Ren[/name_m], [name_m]Finn[/name_m] & [name_m]Jett[/name_m]. IF I chose [name_m]Ren[/name_m] or [name_m]Finn[/name_m] with my son being called the nn “Ben” sometimes his name is [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], would that be okay since it’s not his actual name? [name_m]Or[/name_m] no? I’ve had both of these on my list for 4 years now. It bums me out to think I can’t use them now. :smiling_face_with_tear:[name_f][/name_f] Help!

They’d be too similar for me. Maybe if it were like [name_m]Finley[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m].

I think [name_m]Finn[/name_m] works just fine, but [name_m]Ren[/name_m] is a bit too rhymey for me. Would it be possible to adjust to called [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] a slightly different nickname, like [name_m]Benny[/name_m], or just [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]? [name_m]Benny[/name_m] and [name_m]Ren[/name_m] or [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] and [name_m]Ren[/name_m] are still similar but I’ve met plenty of siblings with names like that (think [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_m]Beau[/name_m] and [name_m]Logan[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and Finlay)

We normally call him Benny, but occasionally there’s a “Ben” in there. I may end up using one as a middle spot. Thanks for the input!

[name_m]Finn[/name_m] and [name_m]Ben[/name_m] are perfectly fine together! I think they’re actually lovely as brothers, they both have that laid-back, friendly vibe! But I do think that [name_m]Ren[/name_m] & [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] are too similar.

[name_f][/name_f]I think [name_m]Ren[/name_m] and [name_m]Jett[/name_m] would be too close, but [name_m]Finn[/name_m] would be fine since it doesn’t actually rhyme with [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] or [name_m]Ben[/name_m]!

I think they all work just fine however I would be inclined to go Finley with B3nnett just because I think they match more stylistically together. Also maybe Fintan would work as it’s a rarer option and has the strong T sound off Jett which you seem to like as B3nnett also has that T sound.
