[name]Amber[/name] has always been on my list despite all the negative reviews I’ve read about it. Most think it’s a very dated name (circa 1980’s) and is associated with mean girls and strippers lol. [name]Just[/name] curious to see if you all agree or disagree?
I do agree that is associated with mean girls and strippers. The [name]Ambers[/name] that I know are all rude, but what you name your child won’t make the child who she is. She has to be raised the right way (or the wrong way) to be the kind of person that she is. I like them name, but I personally wouldn’t use it. [name]Hope[/name] this helps.
I actually really love the name [name]Amber[/name], it is a beautiful color and is an easy nature name. Kind of in the same vein as [name]Heather[/name]. But I agree that it is dated and has a “low class” reputation. Which is a shame!

I think it’s very pretty, but prefer the spelling [name]Amber[/name] [name]Juliet[/name].
I know a very sweet, fun [name]Amber[/name]. But my first impression will be the Clueless character, the 80’s, and, yes, strippers (not that there is anything wrong with strippers). Are there any [name]Amber[/name] variants? I can objectively say that [name]Amber[/name] is very lovely. Maybe [name]Ember[/name] if you are a bit more adventurous?

It’s a shame about [name]Amber[/name]'s negative connotations. I have always liked it. I like amber jewellery and actress [name]Amber[/name] Tamblyn. So there are two things that are positive.
I don’t like [name]Amber[/name], sorry. I love the stone, but the name sounds low class.
First thing that came to mind was the song. The first [name]Amber[/name] I knew was not rude nor a stripper so I don’t really have negative associations with this name.
When i first think of [name]Amber[/name] i think of ditzy, shopaholic. Maybe subliminally i picked that up from Clueless, i don’t know. Then i think of the girls I have known named [name]Amber[/name], and they have all been great people. [name]One[/name] was named [name]Amberly[/name] but she is brilliant. [name]One[/name] of the smartest, passionate, hard working people i know. She was working in a doctors office when she was only 16. 0_o I have a new friend named [name]Amber[/name] who is very detail oriented. She is nice, and smart. I haven’t known a bad [name]Amber[/name].
