I’m not gonna go into details about his background but what are your thoughts on this character based on his name alone? Is the first part of his surname Sackville “rednecky” ro you? Thanks in advance!
character sounds prissy, but the kind you find in the south [passive aggressive?]. maybe a bit entitled. the surname sackville sounds like it’s from a southern background, not necessarily ‘rednecky’ but i could see it happening, and germain sounds northern. hope i answered your questions! 
The whole name sounds upper class British to me (I live in England).
Sackville somehow does not seem “rednecky” to me at all.
I can picture his old black and white portrait. He’s in a suit, he has an impressive mustache, especially for a young guy, he has nice skin (all the old portraits make peoples’ skin look so flawless), maybe light eyes, and kinda slicked dark hair.
He sounds like a real person, sometime between 1890 and 1930.
For some reason, I imagine him to be underdog-ish but ambitious.
