First name ending in “a” with middle name Anna?

What would you choose for a first name if it…

  1. Had to end with the letter “a”
  2. Had to precede the middle name [name_f]Anna[/name_f]?

Examples:

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_u]Maria[/name_u] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]

I’m sure this will inspire a lot of complaints about “flow” due to the glottal stop (or elided vowel). “Flow” is a term I find peculiar, arbitrary, and uninspired, but I’m asking this question anyway.

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is sweet

[name_f]Amalia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Ilaria[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]

hmm, I don’t think I’d choose a name that ended in -a at all. flow is a term I find relevant, useful, & inspired, and an -a ending name with the middle anna wouldn’t fit my typical criteria for flow.

however, for the sake of discussion, I’ll go with liora anna

You can do that, but I wouldn’t. I think it is because I learned [name_u]French[/name_u] as a second language and they avoid 2 vowels like that in the language in general.

Thank you to those of you who replied intelligently. :cherry_blossom:

I really like [name_u]Maria[/name_u] [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!
