I finally found a name I like but I don’t think it goes with our last name. The name is Marick our last name is [name]Kendall[/name]. That doesn’t work right?
I’ve seen [name]Marek[/name] and [name]Merrick[/name] but not Marick. The flow isn’t ideal with Marick [name]Kendall[/name] with the back-to-back k’s but if you don’t find another name you love, I don’t think it should be a deal-breaker.
When I say it out loud it all blends into one name. I too would prefer [name]Marek[/name] or [name]Merrick[/name].
Yeah, it is hard to say. [name]How[/name] about [name]Merritt[/name], Merit, or [name]Marit[/name] instead?
I like the suggestion of [name]Merritt[/name]. The K sounds do run together too much for me.
My sister did this (her ds’s full first name is [name]Zeke[/name]) and it is very difficult to say his name first and last, it sounds like “[name]Zee[/name]” when you say it. Not sure if she cared (they really loved “just [name]Zeke[/name]”) and I’m used to it, however, I am more into how something sounds and trying it out etc so that sort of thing is not for my kids.
All this to say, I do think it sounds like “Merrikendall” said all together, so not sure it works. BUT if you do love it, then do not worry and just use it.
