We are expecting a boy and we already have the middle name picked out…it will be [name]Timothy[/name] after my husbands Godfather who recently passed…because [name]Timothy[/name] has so many syllables, we would like a first name with one syllable…seems to flow better! Please give us some ideas
________ [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Mai[/name] (pronounced [name]May[/name])
Thank you!
We have two other sons…[name]Mason[/name] and [name]Evan[/name]…if that helps!
I love the name [name]Timothy[/name]. For the first name, certain one syllable names may sound abrupt with your short one-syllable surname. He will be called by his first and last names much more often than by his full name. You may want to consider some two-syllable first names too that will go well with [name]Mai[/name].
For a one-syllable name:
[name]Scott[/name] ([name]Scott[/name] [name]Mai[/name] and [name]Scott[/name] [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Mai[/name] sound nice to me.)
If you want to continue the pattern of first names ending with N… I [name]LOVE[/name] these:
- [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Mai[/name] ([name]Ryan[/name] [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Mai[/name])
- [name]Aaron[/name] [name]Mai[/name] ([name]Aaron[/name] [name]Timothy[/name] [name]Mai[/name])
[name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Timothy[/name] for a first name…two syllable names would work…don’t have to end in N…that kind of just happend with the other two!
