I’m having a hard time choosing between three Names. Please let me know Y’all options.
My thoughts:
Valerie - frenchy chic, artsy and cool, but also with some strength/heft behind it, ages well (ie isn’t too cutesy), gives sweet nn of Vali/Valley - which may make it easier to give a newborn.
Tessa - a charming, storybook name, wide-eyed earnest and loveable. Tess seems happy, trustworthy and amiable to me but again without being too cute.
Madison - a spunky, optimistic, and sporty name, seems “southern” (US) to me. Feels noughties and a little dated or at least less “timeless” as the first two.
So, Valerie or Tessa would be my pick depending on the type of feel you’re going for. If I personally had to choose, I would choose Valerie.
Your three choices are all very different in feel!
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is the most on-trend now. It fits in with a lot of other 2-syllable, ending in a girls’ names. It has a quaint sweetness and a bit of spark, too.
[name_f]Valerie[/name_f] is retro-cool. It fits in while still standing out. It’s got some interesting song associations, too!
[name_f]Madison[/name_f] - you may find it quite divisive. People will either love it or hate it. It’s on the decline from its early 2000s peak, but still well-used for babies born now.
Personally, I wouldn’t use [name_f]Madison[/name_f]. [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] are about equal for me, but I’d probably go with [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] as it stands out a bit more than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
I would choose [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]! Warm and bright
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is so beautiful and underused. I love the nickname [name_f]Tess[/name_f].
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]!
