Hello! After stewing over what I thought would be the hard name (the girl option) I moved onto the boy’s. It’s proven to be much harder than expected.
Today I realized the name [name_m]Wells[/name_m] just sort of makes my heart flutter. It feels old and new at the same time. What are your thoughts on the name, and any middle name suggestions?
Last name is Toldness.
(A few honor options for a MN would be [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_u]David[/name_u] and Harrison)
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]David[/name_u] is my favorite combination of what you’ve suggested for using honors middles
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] Jacobson and [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Davidson[/name_m] also flow nicely and could be ways to honor multiple of those people in one middle, if you’re into that
Wow! You just touched on something I never considered! [name_f]My[/name_f] husbands name is [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], so [name_m]Wells[/name_m] Jacobson is definitely a contender! Thank you!
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] is a great name, for sure. It could also be a nickname to [name_m]Wellington[/name_m] or [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] (and maybe others?)
I love love love [name_m]Wells[/name_m]! It’s perfectly usable and has both rooted and very modern vibe
There’s actually a character named [name_m]Wells[/name_m] in futuristic series The 100!
I think [name_m]Wells[/name_m] would be a cool name! I don’t think you can go wrong with the middle names you’re already considering. I think the 2 syllable middle names flow best with it - [name_u]David[/name_u] or [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
All I think of is the bank, [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Fargo[/name_u]. So maybe avoid if you’re in the [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_f]England[/name_f] area of the US.
I do like the idea of [name_m]Wells[/name_m] Jacobson or [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Davidson[/name_m].
No, not from the area, the thought never crossed my mind to be honest, so I think we’re okay in that aspect. Thank you for giving me that to consider, however! I appreciate it.
I really like [name_m]Wells[/name_m]. And the Jacobson name to go with dad is super cool ( although would another son with a different middle feel left out?)
I love [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], but honestly you can’t go wrong with any of your combos! [name_m]Wells[/name_m] works great with so many names!
I like [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]David[/name_u] best! I also like the name [name_u]Dawson[/name_u] “son of David” - [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Dawson[/name_u]
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]David[/name_u]. Haven’t seen this suggestion but what about [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u].
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] is so handsome! totally usable
i second the suggestion of [name_m]Wells[/name_m] Jacobson & [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Dawson[/name_u]!
and [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]David[/name_u] would be my fav from your list
some other ideas:
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Harris[/name_m]
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Kuba[/name_m] (variant of Jacob)
I think [name_m]Wells[/name_m] is a great intersection between vintage (old school [name_f]English[/name_f] surname), hip (surnames are very trendy right now), and futuristic (via the character from The 100 and sci-fi author H.G. Wells).
Personally, I would avoid -son names in the middle slot, because that would be three surnames in one combo, which for me is a little much. But if you are keen on the triple surname idea, I think [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Forsythe[/name_u], [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_u]Davis[/name_u], or [name_m]Wells[/name_m] [name_m]Jacoby[/name_m] could be good options for you!
