hii i really love fishing and some of my best memories are from when my friends/family and i have went, so i was wondering what names have something to do with fishing?

there’s the obvious Fisher but i’m not too fond of that as i just think of the animal haha

any and all suggestion are appreciated, tia! :))

[name_m]Fisher[/name_m] was my first thought! Maybe try the [name_m]Fischer[/name_m] spelling?

Then I thought of actual fish as names… [name_m]Pike[/name_m], [name_u]Salmon[/name_u], [name_u]Trout[/name_u], or [name_m]Shad[/name_m].

[name_u]Or[/name_u] water meanings? One of the many [name_u]Lake[/name_u] inspired names, if you fished on a lake, or a river or the ocean? [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe the name of your favorite lake/river/ocean fishing spot?

I think [name_m]Fisher[/name_m] is sweet but I understand where you’re coming from, haha!

I agree with @westem’s suggestion of a specific place - that would have deeper significance and be totally adorable!!

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was the name [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] because I thought of the [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] character [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] [name_m]Fisher[/name_m]. It’s a bit stretchy and not very intuitive, but maybe that could work as an inside joke for you? [name_f]My[/name_f] other thought was [name_f]Annette[/name_f] because it sounds like “a net”. This could also work with [name_m]Rodney[/name_m] (or any “rod” name, for fishing rod).

Other ideas:

  • any famous fishers that you like?

  • types of fish
  • famous fish names (like characters in Finding Nemo?)
