Which of these is your favourite and what vibes in detail does your favourite give you? Let us discuss about these names!

[name_u]Florence[/name_u] is my favourite - it feels poetic and powerful, elegant but understated, musical and sweet. It reminds me of [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and the Machine songs, Romantic [name_f]Poetry[/name_f], old books and wildflowers. I quite enjoy is as a gender neutral name too, and it’s one that I still like a lot, despite the popularity.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] would be my second favourite - literary, lively, rugged and bright

I like [name_f]Flor[/name_f]- names! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your list is [name_m]Florent[/name_m]. It feels so sophisticated. I like the [name_u]French[/name_u] pronunciation, but I slightly prefer the Icelandic spelling and pronunciation Flórent (FLOW-rent).

[name_f]My[/name_f] other favorites would be Fleury, [name_m]Florimond[/name_m] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u].
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f] is alright, but I feel like it was everywhere for a while (maybe 10 years ago?) and then it disappeared. I think this was a very local thing though, just several people that I know calling their baby [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is so popular on NB that I’ve gotten a little bored with it. It’s also not my favorite in general, I prefer [name_f]Flor[/name_f] (as a unisex name).
I’m completely neutral on [name_u]Florian[/name_u].

[name_m]Can[/name_m] I mention some of my other [name_f]Flor[/name_f]- favorites? They are [name_m]Florentin[/name_m], [name_m]Florizel[/name_m], [name_f]Flory[/name_f] (for either gender), [name_f]Flordelis[/name_f], Florentijn (b), Florijn (b) and Florencjan (b)

[name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. I dislike [name_f]Flora[/name_f] as it’s the name of a margarine in the UK.
[name_u]Florence[/name_u] would come in second.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is my favourite :tulip:

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] is gorgeous she’s sweet and has tons of springtime energy. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] just makes me smile. She reminds me of pretty spring imagery lambs frolicking in meadows, daffodils peeping through the last of the winter’s snow and just a sense of cheer in the air at the final end of winter. I love that [name_f]Flora[/name_f] has mythological history she’s the [name_m]Roman[/name_m] goddess of spring and flowers which is just wonderful. There is the margarine associations but for me this isn’t a huge issue and isn’t my immediate thought. I met a [name_f]Flora[/name_f] at soft play the other day and I was so freaking happy!

[name_u]Florian[/name_u] is my favourite from your list. It is charming and bright. Some vibes: playing field hockey, studying biology, smart casual clothing style, hiking trip to the Alps.

I also like [name_f]Flora[/name_f] from your list, [name_m]Florentin[/name_m], Florentijn and Florijn from @Rosebeth’s list and [name_u]Floris[/name_u].

[name_u]Florence[/name_u], but for a girl. Someone I know has a baby relative with the name and it’s so cute.

Flora’s nice but like someone said, It’s the name of a margarine in the UK. Also there’s Zoflora, a cleaning product.

I love [name_u]Florian[/name_u] to bits (on a boy). I saw a young one ona reality show about hospitals and i’ve liked it ever since.
