I’ve been really liking [name_m]Florin[/name_m] the past couple weeks and would really love to hear your thoughts on him and some possible combos. Does he feel more or less usable than [name_m]Florian[/name_m]? What would you expect a [name_m]Florin[/name_m] to be like? [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to suggest middles as well—I like [name_m]Florin[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] but don’t love him yet, and am not sure what else I’d pair him with.

I like it, and a bit more than [name_m]Florian[/name_m]. I feel like it was the name of a fairytale place in something like the [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Bride[/name_f].
to me [name_m]Florin[/name_m] sound too much like florint - a medieval currency i think. I prefer [name_m]Florian[/name_m].
[name_m]Florin[/name_m] is a charming romantic choice that I think is very usable and definitely from my [name_f]British[/name_f] perspective I can envision on a child. I prefer [name_m]Florian[/name_m] though I think [name_m]Florian[/name_m] is a very visually attractive and has a more attractive sound. Still love [name_m]Florin[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] such a lovely name!
Unfortunately, I cannot accurately gauge how [name_m]Florin[/name_m] would be perceived in the US, but, from my European perspective, [name_m]Florin[/name_m] and [name_m]Florian[/name_m] are equally usable (and charming). I hear the former far less often, however.
[name_m]Florin[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is lovely! Are you looking for alternative suggestions, or for a second middle name?
[name_m]Florin[/name_m] feels sleek and polished – silver birch trees, thistle plants, shiny coins, silk. I like it, but [name_m]Florian[/name_m] does feel a bit more intuitive to pronounce from an [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking perspective if that worries you? Still, I like the succinctness of [name_m]Florin[/name_m]!
