Hiya, what are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Floyd[/name_m] for a boy?
I like it! It’s short and sweet
I think it’s cool! I wouldn’t choose it myself but I’d love to see it on someone else’s kid!
I think it’s very dated. Not fan of the sound of it.
Although I’m not a fan of the name, I know a [name_m]Floyd[/name_m] and he is the nicest man I’ve ever met so I have a good connotation that goes with it. I agree with pp, I would never name my kid it however I would love to see it used on someone elses

Thanks everyone! To me it sounds very similar to all the [name_u]Finn[/name_u]'s, [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]'s, Findly’s which are really popular at the minute x
I love it! I think it’s really cool sounding and actually fits with lot if popular name trends without being an obvious choice. It’s got that vintage charm, one syllable, with a F and Y sound. I actually might add it to my list.
[name_m]Floyd[/name_m] is actually one of my top choices. It’s not overly formal sounding to me like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], and and such are ffor me. It has a homespun vibe to it.
[name_m]Floyd[/name_m] is lovely! I think it’s fun, short and interesting.
