My husband has announced that he is favouring [name]Ronnie[/name] for a girl, which i do think is cute, but not 100% on [name]Veronica[/name], which would be the natural choice.
Any suggestions for names which aren’t a stretch to get [name]Ronnie[/name] out of?
You could also give her an [name]Ro[/name] first name, like [name]Rose[/name], [name]Rosalie[/name], or [name]Rosaline[/name], and an N middle to reach [name]Ronnie[/name] by using the [name]RON[/name] letters.
I do like [name]Veronica[/name], but have a list of names that i prefer.
[name]Bronwyn[/name] was on my list, hadn’t thought of that, but it ends in an ‘n’ sound, same as one of my other children so thats out (I’m a bit wierd like that!) And although i thought of [name]Verona[/name], hubby doesn’t like place names for names.
[name]Petra[/name]/[name]Petronella[/name]
[name]Ronia[/name]
[name]Rona[/name]/[name]Rhona[/name] (rhymes with [name]Mona[/name])
[name]Veronique[/name] (I much prefer this to [name]Veronica[/name])
I like the suggestion of [name]Cameron[/name] and [name]Bronwyn[/name], but you said names that end in -n are out right?
I love [name]Verona[/name] – it’s such a beautiful city that it’s one place-name I’m actually okay with!
