My wife [name]Terri[/name] and I are expecting a baby boy, who will be joining his big sister [name]Isla[/name] [name]Francesca[/name] O’[name]Brien[/name]. For us, the name’s meaning is very important, which is why we have settled on [name]Forrest[/name] for his first name. We are both very nature-inspired people (some of other ideas were [name]Jasper[/name] and Kootenay (after the parks in [name]Canada[/name])), and we want his middle name to have a strong meaning as well. We have not been able to find a middle name that we really like and are in great need of suggestions! Some ideas for meaning are: courageous, brave, strong, humble, honest, etc. Anything evoking strong qualities. We don’t really have a style, so a variation of names is hugely appreciated. [name]Terri[/name] is stuck in a rut with this name and is getting more and more frustrated (we haven’t been finding books very helpful), and any support and advice you can offer means the world to us. Thank you!!!
[name]Forrest[/name] [name]Conall[/name] - this has a powerhouse meaning, “noble and strong as the forest wolf”, and just sounds great! (plus, [name]Isla[/name], who practices her reading at every opportunity she can, just pointed at the screen and yelled “wolf!”. they are one of her favorite animals)
[name]Forrest[/name] [name]Casey[/name] - this meaning is also very strong “noble and brave (in battle) woodsman”. it seems like we tend to like names that start with a hard ‘c’ sound for the middle (although not fond of [name]Forrest[/name] [name]Caleb[/name]), which actually has a hidden cool meaning since his first two initials would be FC, which can stand for Football Club (we are big soccer fans!)
[name]Forrest[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] - [name]Alexander[/name] is such a classic, strong name, and the only slight problem I have with it is that its a big long. But, I definitely love its meaning!
Also like [name]Forrest[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Forrest[/name] [name]Andrew[/name], and [name]Forrest[/name] [name]Rhys[/name]/[name]Reese[/name].
These are some great choices that we’ll have to talk about - again, thank you!
