Spelling question
[name_f]Arlea[/name_f] or Arlia
[name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] does not have any R in it but is uh-lye-uh.
I’m not sure why you used the R’s or if you want an R sound in there or not. If you want the pronunciation to be uh-lee-uh then I would spell it [name_f]Aleah[/name_f]. If you want it to be said like are-lee-uh then I would spell it like po suggested, [name_f]Arlea[/name_f] or Arlia.
[name_f]Arlea[/name_f], Arleah, or Arlia would probably be the spellings most likely to be said the way you want.
**I’ve just realised I think I’ve been reading you incorrectly. In my accent Leah and Lia are pronounced the same way, but you seem to make a distinction.
Are you thinking more R-lay-ah or R-lee-ah? If you’re going for R-Lee-ah, then Arlia is my favourite spelling. If you’re going for R-lay-ah, then I think Arleia would probably be best.
[name_f]Arlea[/name_f] or Arlia.
I’m guessing you’re either British or Aussie I would go with [name_f]Alia[/name_f].
I’m confused as to whether you want the R sound in there or not? If you want the R sound I’d go with [name_f]Arlea[/name_f], though Arleah, Arlia or Arliah could also be options. If you don’t, [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is probably the most common spelling. I personally think it looks messy though, partly because I had a friend named Aliyaa who pronounced it uh-lee-ah so spelling it that way looks more correct for that pronunciation to me. [name_f]Aleah[/name_f] would also work for no R.
