Recently found out I’m expecting #4[name_f][/name_f], unknown sex, but feel pretty sure about a potential boy name (Blair Herbert). [name_f]Baby[/name_f] will be joining big sisters [name_f]Holland[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Arden[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_m]Sterling[/name_m] [name_f]Pauline[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] frontrunner right now is [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Merritt[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Romy[/name_f], but of course there’s that worry about “matching” her sisters and sticking to unisex first with a more feminine middle, in which case we’d probably go [name_f]Merritt[/name_f].
Like [name_f]Sloane[/name_f] and [name_f]Greer[/name_f] as well, but not as much as [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] or [name_f]Merritt[/name_f]! Would love to hear input re: sticking to the ‘theme’ (I do love cohesion, sigh) and other suggestions! Thank you! <3
[name_f]Merritt[/name_f] goes wonderfully with [name_f]Holland[/name_f], [name_f]Arden[/name_f], and [name_m]Sterling[/name_m]! I think [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is the best option as it has a great flow, and she could always go by [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as well!
If you like [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] in the first spot, I think it could work. With nickname [name_f]Romy[/name_f], it still fits in.
[name_f][/name_f]
Still, I do prefer [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] personally [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] are lovely! [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], and [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] came to mind.
I think [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] goes perfectly with her sisters. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] is beautiful too, but [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] does have a different vibe as a first.
Absolutely love [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] with your set! [name_f][/name_f] it flows really nicely too. Good luck with number four!
Absolutely loving [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] with your set! [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is beautiful as well.
Gosh, I’m team [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] “Romy”. [name_f][/name_f]For some reason [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] doesn’t sound too off to me with [name_f]Holland[/name_f] & [name_m]Sterling[/name_m], which both feel elegant and feminine while being gender neutral. I do think that [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] & [name_f]Arden[/name_f] are better suited for each other, but I love [name_f]Romy[/name_f] & [name_f]Arden[/name_f], so I guess what I’m saying is I don’t think you can go wrong either way! [name_f][/name_f]That said the combination of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] does throw me a bit with the singsong -Mary-Mare sound in the middle. [name_f][/name_f]I’ll suggest: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Greer[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_m]Ellis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_m]Mercer[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Larkin[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_m]Allard[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_m]Hopper[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] “Romy”
I would say go with the name you love. Though [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] does have a different vibe [name_f]Romy[/name_f] fits great! And in the end they’ll go on to live their individual lives, and I feel like you’ll regret not using the name you love more than you’ll regret not having a matching sibset.
[name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] goes the best with her sisters but if [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] “Romy” is The Name then you should go for it. [name_f]Romy[/name_f] still fits pretty well with your other girls so it might not feel as different if thats what she’s mostly called. You could also just do [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as the full name.
I’m an absolute sucker for Rosemary such a gorgeous name that really pulls at my heartstrings so I’m surprised to say that I’m championing Merritt up front over Rosemary. Merritt is such a joyous name that has the modern feel of your girls. I think Merritt Rosemary just works and belongs in your set. So I would go Merritt
Still if you strongly prefer Rosemary I would always choose the name you love over sibling set cohesion.
[name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is a stunning combo! And it pairs so perfectly with [name_f]Holland[/name_f], [name_f]Arden[/name_f], and [name_m]Sterling[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f] I think [name_f]Romy[/name_f] could definitely be used as a nickname!
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] is such a wonderful name! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Merritt[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is stunning as well.
[name_f][/name_f]
In terms of cohesion, [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] is, in fact, a better match for your set. However, all your daughters have unisex names that lean distinctly toward the feminine side. To my eyes, [name_f]Arden[/name_f] is a feminine name. Its sound and meaning are sweet, interesting, and brave. At first glance, I would also assume [name_f]Holland[/name_f] was a girl because in my native language, Holanda (Portuguese for Holland) is a feminine place name. Probably, only the gentle and colorful [name_m]Sterling[/name_m] would have left me in doubt until I saw the middle name. It’s a magnificent unisex name with a great meaning! Curiously, I find that the alternative spelling, [name_f]Starling[/name_f], would be easier to categorize in terms of gender because it contains the word “star.” Your daughters have wonderful names and I believe [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] would be a stunning addition to your set, with its captivating unisex sound and spelling. [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] shares many of the qualities present in your children’s names.
[name_f][/name_f]
Nevertheless, I have to admit that I have a big crush on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] related names! Between [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Merritt[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] definitely stands out to me. It’s a beautiful feminine name that isn’t overly girly, frilly, or whimsical. Instead, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] feels sophisticated and strong. I imagine someone quiet, peaceful, joyful, intelligent and kind. In my perspective, the nickname [name_f]Romy[/name_f] is a clever way to blend [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] into the set.
[name_f][/name_f]
Ultimately, the best choice will be the one you love most. [name_f]My[/name_f] advice is to follow your heart. No matter the order, [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Merritt[/name_f] flow beautifully together. Plus, both combinations maintain your pattern of pairing a unisex name with a feminine one, even if in a reversed order from the usual.
