Foxhart or Foxwell for MN?

What do you guys think of Foxhart or Foxwell for a boys’ middle?

Foxes are my favorite animal, but I don’t want to use the name [name_m]Fox[/name_m] itself since it’s associated with [name_m]Fox[/name_m] News. (I don’t mind [name_m]Fox[/name_m] News, but it’s just too strong of an association in [name_u]America[/name_u].)

ETA: Any other [name_m]Fox[/name_m]-related names you would suggest?

ETA #2: Oh, wait…Foxwell could easily sound like “f**** well”…

I’m in Australia so my first thought of the name [name_m]Fox[/name_m] is X-Files.

I feel like Foxwell is a play on [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]/just an attempt to lengthen [name_m]Fox[/name_m] whereas I don’t get that same thought with Foxhart.

With Foxhart, however, I do think of Foxglove plant/digoxin (heart medication), but I work in healthcare and have an interest in plants so that might not be an obvious association for most people.

I prefer Foxhart between the two.

I was going to suggest Foxglove as well, it was my first thought. A search for surnames containing “fox” provided this list…

[name_m]Fox[/name_m]
Foxall
[name_m]Foxe[/name_m]
[name_m]Foxen[/name_m]
Foxhall
Foxhoven
Foxley
Foxman
Foxwell
Foxworth
Foxworthy

I prefer Foxwell as it has a nicer flow but I still prefer Foxglove as it has more substance than Foxwell.

Foxwell and Foxhart are both a little extra. I would keep looking or reconsider [name_m]Fox[/name_m] as a middle. I don’t think the [name_m]Fox[/name_m] News association is as strong as you think.

I think almost anything that pairs Fox with a wordy second syllable sounds like an Englishman saying something a little, well… unfortunate.
Maybe Foxin or Foxen?

I really like Foxhart!

Foxwell does sound like “f**** well” to me, unfortunately. Otherwise, I like it!

I like Foxhart a lot and think it works well for a middle name.
