Which do you like better for a boy (middle name)
[name_m]Francisco[/name_m] or [name_m]Francesco[/name_m]?
[name_m]Francisco[/name_m]
[name_m]Francisco[/name_m].
Another vote for [name_m]Francisco[/name_m].
Well that depends on the pronunciation of the name.
Are we talking [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] like the city and [name_m]Francesco[/name_m] pronounced [name_u]Fran[/name_u]-Ches-Co? If that’s the case. I like the later better.
I love [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]. I have a lovely friend with this name - it’s always struck me as very handsome.
Definitely [name_m]Francesco[/name_m]! I love it! I think it’s a very handsome name with a wonderful sound. [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] just doesn’t appeal to me as much, maybe it’s the ‘cis’ sound? And I’m almost expecting San to proceed it.
lol well I am actually from San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m], which is why I want to use some kind of variant. I don’t like [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. I love the name [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] in general, but [name_m]Francesco[/name_m] is fun too since I had a short stint in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] when I was younger.
I prefer [name_m]Francesco[/name_m]. It feels softer and more romantic to me.
[name_m]Francisco[/name_m] is nice too, though. It strikes me as a cooler, edgier choice in the middle name slot, I think because it’s geographical.
I prefer [name_m]Francesco[/name_m], but that’s because I like the “ches” over “cis” a lot more.
I prefer [name_m]Francesco[/name_m]. I know a terrific young man with the name.
I’m not from San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] nor am I from [name_u]California[/name_u] or The U.S. For that matter so I may be wrong but don’t they call the city also by [name_m]Frisco[/name_m] as a nickname? I kind of like that as a regular name.
I think that if you do [name_m]Francesco[/name_m], it kind of loses what’s meaningful to you about it. I prefer [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] anyway - it sounds more solidly male, whereas [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is so much more common in the US than the masculine form that [name_m]Francesco[/name_m] ends up feeling feeling feminine. [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] sounds like an explorer.
[name_m]Francesco[/name_m] is very handsome. [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] is quite nice as well but I prefer the ‘chess’ sound in [name_m]Francesco[/name_m].
[name_m]Francisco[/name_m].
[name_m]Francesco[/name_m] seems too much like [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] so seems feminine.
Definitely [name_m]Francisco[/name_m]. As pp said, [name_m]Francesco[/name_m] sounds too much like [name_f]Francesca[/name_f].

No kids, just a young name fan.
Boys: [name_m]Louis[/name_m] - [name_u]James[/name_u] - [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] - [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - [name_m]George[/name_m]
Girls: [name_f]Helen[/name_f] - [name_f]Annie[/name_f] - [name_f]Isla[/name_f] - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_f]Kaitlin[/name_f]
[name_m]Francesco[/name_m] has my vote
